Vision of Citizens Affairs
Being concerned about the Citizen Affairs, the Unit, and according to the Organizational Structure, is directly linked to the University President, and it mainly focuses on receiving Citizens Requests, Suggestions and Complaints, transforming them when possible from Paper into Electronic through the use of Governance Program.
Duties of the Unit
The Unit Duties can be summarized as follows:
• Responding to all inquiries received from Citizens, meeting them, listening to their inquiries or proposals, and providing them with proper replies after being introduced to the University Officials.
• Facilitating and Providing Assistance to Citizens by completing their Requests at the University Departments, in addition to receiving their Proposals.
• Communicating and Cooperating with Colleges, Departments, and other Units so as to identify Problems and Difficulties, and submitting them to the University President Office.
• Control of any difficulties that might face Citizens while dealing with the University.
• Receiving and following up Citizens Requests & Complaints, whether in Paper or Electronic via E-Mail or Phone Number, and submitting those to the University President Office to obtain certain Directives related to these Requests & Complaints.
• Receiving Citizens, listening to their Proposals, Complaints or any Difficulties that they might face, and guiding them to the most appropriate Mechanisms and Procedures that can be followed.
• Receiving Citizen Interview Requests (see the attached form), and arranging these interviews with the University President Office.

Mission of the Unit
The Unit Mission can be summarized as follows:
• As being a reflection to a Civilization Status at a State of Institutions, the Unit is committed to help Citizens.
• The Unit represents a Link of Communication between the Citizen, i.e. Academics, Employees, Students, Outsider Citizens, and the University to receive Requests, Proposals as well as Complaints.
• Providing replies to all questions and inquiries received from Citizens as quickly as possible after being submitted to the University Officials.
Objectives of Citizens Affairs
The Unit Objectives can be summarized as follows:
• It follows up the Citizen Affairs, which comprise Requests, Proposals, in addition to any type of obstacles, with serious attempts to implementing or solving them transparently and smoothly.
• Being an Interface to the University and directly linked to its Presidency, the Unit is committed to work on promoting the Scientific & Academic Level at the University.
• Reinforcing the Spirit of Cooperation and Confidence between the Citizen and his University, introducing him to the Regulations & Laws in force with their Amendments so that they can be utilized properly and effectively in case of grievance or complaint.
• All Citizens Proposals and Requests are submitted to the University President Office, being deemed vital issues, and directives shall be followed.
