In his speech, His Excellency the Minister announced the provision of more than 16,000 scholarships in the new edition of the program, covering various academic disciplines with a focus on cultural exchange and enhancing the research environment. He also directed the establishment of the “Study in Iraq” association for international students and the official designation of April 30th each year as International Student Day.
