Due to the importance of developing women’s leadership at Higher Education, enabling them to participate in the Decision-Making Process, and having effective presence in Committees & Leadership Positions, Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research has adopted programs related to Women Empowerment, in cooperation with Iraqi Universities as well as International Organizations, according to which Women Empowerment Department has been established at the Ministry according to the Ministerial Order No. 14 of 2021, being in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution No. 1325. Accordingly, Women Empowerment Units have been created at all Universities and Formations affiliated with the Ministry as per the Ministerial Order No. 479 issued on 7th June 2021.

The Translation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University was established according to the Official Order No. (2375) on 16th October, 2021 because there has been an urgent need to a cadre specialized in translating the scientific and administrative texts, in addition to the news of activities performed by the University with its various Colleges and Departments. Thus, the Unit becomes in charge of translating all types of texts in the language or languages assigned as per requirement.

The idea of introducing career development center emerged after the excessive increase in the number of graduates without there being a policy that regulates and addresses this increase. This unit was created on 7/25/2019, and it put dots on the letters by removing obstacles, finding effective solutions, and changing the patterns followed and trends in the search for... A job in the private sector instead of the public sector. The division sets the students and university graduates as its primary goal in terms of training and qualifying them for the labor market and in terms of qualifying them to enter the world of entrepreneurship, as well as developing the capabilities and skills of university students so that they can apply and compete for jobs after graduation through various training and qualification programs during their studies and in addition to creating prospects for cooperation. It works with the public and private sectors with the aim of marketing their projects. It also encourages them and provides the necessary support for them to complete the graduate studies process through international agreements.

Due to the notable increase in the number of the University Graduates (formerly College), the College Deanship then established a Unit specialized in all issues related to Graduates, except those of the Registration. The Unit was established on 1st September 2016, constituted of only three employees. After the College has been transformed into a University, the Unit of Documents & Alumni has been promoted to a Division, and still affiliated to the President Assistant for Scientific Affairs. The Unit is concerned with the Affairs of Citizens, including Academics, Employees, Students, and Outsider Citizens. Duties of the Unit The Unit Duties can be summarized as follows: • Being a reflection to a Civilization Status at a State of Institutions, the Unit is committed to help Citizens. • The Unit represents a Link of Communication between the Citizen, i.e. Academics, Employees, Students, Outsider Citizens, and the University to receive Requests, Proposals as well as Complaints. • Providing replies to all questions and inquiries received from Citizens as quickly as possible after being submitted to the University Officials. • The University is keen on creating Ideal Academic Atmosphere in which the Teaching Process becomes stable and smooth, and thus participating in its advancement. • Listening to all Opinions, Suggestions & Proposals received from related Citizens, regarding the Unit Performance and its Development.
