Objectives: To reveal the attitudes of Jordanian media professionals towards the use of artificial intelligence applications in the production of digital content, and the impact of these contents on recipients, and to identify the ethical, legislative and application challenges associated with artificial intelligence technology. Methods: The study relied on the survey methodology on an intentional sample of 100 Jordanian media professionals who work in both traditional and digital media institutions in Amman. Results: Jordanian media professionals' attitudes were high in favor of the ability of digital content supported by artificial intelligence to bring about media development, as well as improving the mechanisms for displaying media messages and attracting the audience. Furthermore, the influence of such digital content on recipients through enabling them to live through the event in relevant manner. The results showed that employing artificial intelligence in the production of digital content helps in determining audience-viewing habits, and adopting the personalization feature in distributing news according to the interests of each reader. Conclusion: The media must use modern strategies to keep up with the changing mechanisms of creating media content, methods of processing it, and methods of dissemination. Artificial intelligence represents; a new environment for media practice that requires Jordanian media institutions to develop their capabilities to keep pace with progress in order to increase the efficiency of media work. © 2025 University of Jordan,Deanship of Scientific Research. The study aimed to know the most prominent values in the drama of Islamic history, which the Conquest of Al-Andalus series focused on. It is a descriptive study in which the survey method was used to analyze the content of a deliberate sample of 33 episodes of the Conquest of Andalus series. The results of the study concluded that the three basic frameworks that the Conquest of Andalus series focused on, and made them more prominent, and repetitive in content are; The frameworks of military values in Islam, the frameworks of the values of advocacy and jihad, and the frameworks of the human values of Islam. The results indicated that the five most prominent Islamic values on which the Fatah Al-Andalus series focused are; The value of justice and fairness, the value of achieving victory, the value of advocacy, the value of steadfastness and patience, the value of fulfilling the covenant, that the drama of Islamic history had a positive role in promoting Islamic values in society. © 2024 An-Najah National University. Objectives: The study aims to investigate the level of adherence to professional standards in the content of Jordanian digital journalism news, represented in accuracy, credibility, objectivity, impartiality, balance, and the type of content of the news that it publishes. Methods: The study employed a descriptive analytical approach, utilizing content analysis as a methodological tool to assess the commitment of Jordanian digital journalism to professional standards. A deliberate sample of exclusive local news from three major outlets—Saraya, Ammon, and Jafra—was chosen. Using the comprehensive enumeration method over January and February 2022, 362 news articles were analyzed based on specific indicators measuring the percentage of commitment to professionalism. Results: The results of the study concluded that the percentage of accuracy indicators in Jordanian digital journalism was (83.1%), and the percentage of credibility indicators was (98.1%). The results indicated that the percentage of indicators measuring objectivity in Jordanian digital journalism amounted to (86.2%). The results showed that the percentage of indicators measuring neutrality in Jordanian digital journalism was (94.8%), and the percentage of indicators measuring balance in Jordanian digital journalism was recorded at (87.6%). The findings indicate that diversified news took the top spot at 40.6%, followed by political, economic, social, and sports news in descending order across the three digital journalism outlets. Conclusions: The breach of professional standards by the communicator in the Jordanian digital journalism is attributed to the impact of several factors, including the gatekeeper's self-criteria and the policy of the media outlet that controls publication. © 2024 DSR Publishers/The University of Jordan.

The study aimed to reveal the limitations imposed by some political systems in the world to restrict Internet freedom during political crises, conflict, and the dangers of those limitations, restrictions on freedom of expression and human rights. The study adopted the descriptive approach to explain the theoretical framework of the concept of freedom of human use of the Internet, freedom of the Internet as a human right, the role of the Internet in encouraging freedom of expression of public opinion, the types of restrictions imposed on it in normal circumstances and in times of crisis, and the motives of those determinants and their impact on societies. The study concluded that the freedom to use the Internet as a human right is still tainted by many restrictions, and that the United States used the concept of Internet freedom to achieve political motives, and as a means to impose its agenda on some political systems in the world, with the aim of strengthening its power and protecting its interests, and that the most prominent limitations on the freedom of Internet use during crises are;Internet shutdown, imposing censorship, and restricting access to it, and the results indicated an increase in cases of deliberate government Internet shutdown in a number of countries in the world, reaching 96 cases since the beginning of 2022 until the end of the third quarter of it, carried out by 21 countries to confront protests, demonstrations or Political conflicts, and these indicators point to increasing violations of Internet freedom in crises, and human rights. © 2023 An-Najah National University. Objectives: The objectives of this study were to determine the number and types of rumors recorded by the "Haggak" platform, which was established by the Jordanian government to address rumors published on the Internet. The study aimed to reveal the motives behind the publication of these rumors and identify the targeted parties. Methods: The survey method was adopted for this study, utilizing the content analysis form as a tool for collecting rumors, analyzing their contents, and drawing conclusions. The study sample exclusively included 62 rumors published by the platform in 2020. Results: The results showed that rumors in the health field accounted for 61% of the total, primarily due to the implementation of preventive measures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Economic rumors constituted 23% of the total, while political rumors comprised 8%. Multiple digital communication channels accounted for 35% of the sources of these rumors. WhatsApp was the second most common source, accounting for 24% of the rumors, followed by Facebook at 18%, and Twitter at 10%. Rumors originating from digital journalism accounted for 9% of the total. Conclusion: The study found that the most prominent motives for spreading rumors were, in order, misleading and falsifying facts at a rate of 52.1%, undermining citizens' confidence in the government at a rate of 17.7%, and inciting fear and terror at a rate of 15%. © 2023 University of Jordan,Deanship of Scientific Research.
