Department of Cultural Relations

The Cultural Relationships Department is affiliated to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Department is responsible for establishing and developing scientific and academic cultural exchange programs and organizing the memorandums of understanding with universities and institutions of mutual interest. Among the department's main tasks is raising the scientific, educational, and professional competence of faculty staff, and other technical and administrative staff in the university. This is achieved through facilitating the participation of all staff in their participation in local, regional and international scientific and cultural activities. Most of such participation are implemented under the umbrella of the signed memorandums of understanding with universities, organizations, unions, and bodies related .to education, culture, and science

Mansoura University President Praises Al-Mustaqbal University Following Official Visit.

In a distinguished academic atmosphere reflecting the depth of Arab scientific cooperation, Al-Mustaqbal University welcomed a high-level delegation from Mansoura University headed by its President, Professor Sherif Youssef Khater, during his official visit to the university. The visit included a meeting with students enrolled in the hosted postgraduate programs in Public International Law and Administrative Law. The meeting was attended by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Hassan Shaker Majdy, Professor Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President of Mansoura University for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Ammar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law. Professor Sherif Youssef Khater praised the strong academic collaboration between the two universities, describing the partnership as a distinguished model of integration among Arab higher education institutions. He also commended Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts in supporting and ensuring the success of these pioneering postgraduate programs. For his part, Professor Hassan Shaker Majdy expressed pride in the strategic partnership with Mansoura University, emphasizing that the collaboration represents a significant step toward strengthening Arab academic integration and expanding access to high-quality higher education in Iraq. It is worth noting that the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has approved the hosting of the Master’s Program in Business Administration from the Faculty of Commerce at Mansoura University within the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University. In addition, the admission capacity for the MBA program, as well as the Public International Law and Administrative Law programs, has been increased to twenty students per program. This expansion raises the total number of postgraduate programs hosted at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with Universiti Sains Malaysia and Mansoura University, to five specialized postgraduate programs. Following the conclusion of his visit, Professor Sherif Youssef Khater sent a message of appreciation to Professor Hassan Shaker Majdy, expressing his sincere gratitude for the warm reception and generous hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation. Al-Mustaqbal University Strengthens Its Academic Presence… Scientific Cooperation Agreement with Ishtar Technical Medical Institute

In line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to expand its scientific and academic partnerships both within Iraq and abroad, and to strengthen its institutional presence in the fields of education and scientific research, the University has signed a scientific and academic cooperation agreement with Ishtar Technical Medical Institute. This new step reflects its strategic vision toward openness and integration with both public and private educational institutions. The agreement was signed on behalf of Al-Mustaqbal University by Professor Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, representing the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdy. It was signed on the other side by Professor Dr. Haider Al-Mousawi, Dean of Ishtar Technical Medical Institute. The memorandum covers several areas of mutual interest, including scientific and academic cooperation, exchange of expertise and knowledge, organization of joint activities, as well as support for training and development programs, all of which contribute to enhancing the quality of education and fostering an environment of creativity and institutional excellence.
