Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications focuses on understanding and providing practical solutions in the field of computing. Artificial Intelligence revolves around creating intelligent systems capable of performing tasks autonomously, without the need for human intervention. The center excels in integrating smart applications across various sectors such as healthcare, industry, education, environment, transportation, care for Disables, and the elderly..etc. The center s work is based on algorithms and statistical models that empower machines to learn, think, and make decisions similarly to humans. Al-Mustaqbal Energy Research Center, established by Administrative Order No. B T8/543 on January 17, 2024, represents a leading platform for research related to renewable energy and clean technology. The center aims to enhance research and development in areas such as solar energy, wind energy, bioenergy, and energy storage. It organizes workshops and scientific seminars and works to promote collaboration with local and international universities and research centers, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and expertise. The center also offers specialized training programs for students and researchers, involving them in real research projects that enhance their academic experience. Through strategic partnerships with government institutions and private companies, the center seeks to achieve its research and practical goals, focusing on sustainability and innovation to reduce environmental impact. Ultimately, this center represents a comprehensive effort to achieve sustainable development and provide innovative solutions to energy-related challenges

The vision of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department is derived from the university’s overarching vision. Its mission is aligned with that of the university, striving to achieve a set of objectives that ultimately serve the institution’s interests and reinforce its mission in delivering the best possible service to the community.

Department of Student Activities at Al-Mustaqbal University is responsible for supervising, in addition to coordinating between the committees in charge of Student Activities of the University Colleges and various Units with their divergent interests and fields. Moreover, it is also responsible for proposing plans, programs, and completing the preparations and arrangements related to all ideas and campaigns submitted to the Department

The Scientific Affairs Department at Al-Mustaqbal University aims to achieve excellence and leadership in the fields of scientific and academic research at both the local and regional levels. We work on promoting scientific research and publishing it in peer-reviewed journals at the national and international levels, with a focus on continuous collaboration with local and international researchers to increase our impact and scientific vision. We are committed to sustainability principles and seek to raise awareness about the importance of preserving environmental resources. We also aim to achieve high rankings in global university rankings, which contributes to attracting talents and increasing the impact of our research on the global stage. The Scientific Affairs Department works diligently to develop the scientific landscape, serve the community, lead the university s faculties to achieve the best scientific results, and reach a prestigious position at both regional and international levels.

The Registration and Student Affairs Department was established at almustaqbal University after its transformation from a university college to a university on 4/16/2023. The Registration Department is considered one of the important departments in the university formations due to the nature of its work, which relates to all student affairs from the moment they are accepted into undergraduate studies until graduation. The Registration Department is linked to the office of the Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs. The department works to apply modern technological techniques to complete all student transactions to reduce time and increase accuracy. It also applies all controls and instructions received by the department from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University Presidency.

The Cultural Relationships Department is affiliated to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Department is responsible for establishing and developing scientific and academic cultural exchange programs and organizing the memorandums of understanding with universities and institutions of mutual interest. Among the department's main tasks is raising the scientific, educational, and professional competence of faculty staff, and other technical and administrative staff in the university. This is achieved through facilitating the participation of all staff in their participation in local, regional and international scientific and cultural activities. Most of such participation are implemented under the umbrella of the signed memorandums of understanding with universities, organizations, unions, and bodies related .to education, culture, and science

It is one of the departments administratively linked to the University President as per the organizational structure approved by the Ministry where being technically connected with the Minister's Office / Security Permit Center. Its mission is to grant security permits to all university employees, including permanent employees, contractors, members, and daily wage employees, representing an essential work period such as nomination, job reception, as well as granting security permits to all companies and organizations contracted with the university. The Department also adopts the policies and instructions issued by the National Office for Security Permits, National Security Consultations, in addition issuing the regulations and instructions related to organizing the security aspect, and taking all necessary measures to secure and protect buildings, individuals, information, devices, & equipment from any damage or security breach in accordance with the policies of the National Office. Moreover, the Department has a participating role in the committees related to security work, and excluding unauthorized persons who refuse to undergo security permits. The department is also responsible for organizing conferences and educational seminars that aim to spread awareness among university employees about the risks they might face, being therefore obligated to fight malicious rumors, which intend to destabilizing security. All these tasks and duties depend on administrative orders issued by the Human Resources Department / Organizational Structure Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, based on the orders and instructions of the Iraqi National Security Advisor.

Information Technology Division at Al-mustqbal University the Division that responsible for the electronic services and programs in the college, manages the electronic work in the University and the courses and workshops in the computer science field Generally.

Due to the importance of developing women’s leadership at Higher Education, enabling them to participate in the Decision-Making Process, and having effective presence in Committees & Leadership Positions, Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research has adopted programs related to Women Empowerment, in cooperation with Iraqi Universities as well as International Organizations, according to which Women Empowerment Department has been established at the Ministry according to the Ministerial Order No. 14 of 2021, being in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution No. 1325. Accordingly, Women Empowerment Units have been created at all Universities and Formations affiliated with the Ministry as per the Ministerial Order No. 479 issued on 7th June 2021.

The Department of Studies and Planning is the starting point for knowledge management and keeping up with scientific advancements. It plays a strategic role by providing data and statistics about the college, its departments, and affiliated centers. Additionally, it develops short-, medium-, and long-term strategic plans based on comprehensive statistics and data covering all college formations. The department also formulates the student admission plan for each academic year according to labor market requirements, along with establishing new departments, branches, and scientific colleges to advance the educational landscape, keep pace with development, and meet society’s needs for specialists and professionals in various fields of science and knowledge.

The idea of introducing career development center emerged after the excessive increase in the number of graduates without there being a policy that regulates and addresses this increase. This unit was created on 7/25/2019, and it put dots on the letters by removing obstacles, finding effective solutions, and changing the patterns followed and trends in the search for... A job in the private sector instead of the public sector. The division sets the students and university graduates as its primary goal in terms of training and qualifying them for the labor market and in terms of qualifying them to enter the world of entrepreneurship, as well as developing the capabilities and skills of university students so that they can apply and compete for jobs after graduation through various training and qualification programs during their studies and in addition to creating prospects for cooperation. It works with the public and private sectors with the aim of marketing their projects. It also encourages them and provides the necessary support for them to complete the graduate studies process through international agreements.

Due to the notable increase in the number of the University Graduates (formerly College), the College Deanship then established a Unit specialized in all issues related to Graduates, except those of the Registration. The Unit was established on 1st September 2016, constituted of only three employees. After the College has been transformed into a University, the Unit of Documents & Alumni has been promoted to a Division, and still affiliated to the President Assistant for Scientific Affairs. Now the number of the Division Employees has reached fifteen, with the need to further development as the graduates

Citizen Affairs Division was established at Al-Mustaqbal University as per the provisions of Article No. 18/ Fourth of the Private Education Law No. 25 of 2016 and pursuant to the University Order No. 7/35/265 dated on 20th May 2023The Division is concerned with the affairs of faculty members, employees, students, and external citizens, being administratively linked to the University President .

counseling and educational guidance is a science concerned with treating the psychological problems that individuals suffer from (university students and university employees, whether they are teachers, employees, or workers) and trying to restore their psychological system to a normal level. The role of the Department of Psychological Counseling at the university is to provide periodic assistance to each of the university students of all levels of study, including primary and higher, and for morning and evening study as well, as well as to teachers and employees, and assistance that makes them able to overcome psychological, educational, social, and other difficulties. Hence, the Division of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance A goal and a mission to achieve the best results.

The Chemical, Biological, Radiological Safety, Security Division was established in private universities in accordance with the directives of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research issued on 28/02/2024 in line with governmental universities. Administratively the Division is affiliated with the Office of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs. The Division is responsible for supervising and monitoring the implementation of chemical, biological, and radiological safety and security procedures within the university. It is also entrusted with implementing and following up on the tasks of the university committee responsible for controlling the handling and circulation of hazardous and toxic chemical and biological materials available within the university and its colleges. In addition, the Division monitors radiation protection procedures and promotes a safe working environment within laboratories in accordance with the approved ministerial regulations and guidelines. The Division aims to promote the concepts of safety and security preserve the university environment and ensure the safe use of materials and laboratories in a manner that supports and enhances the educational and research process.

The Entrepreneurship Division is a university unit within the Science and Technology Parks Department, which was established on 26 November 2025 pursuant to University Order No. 6067 The Division aims to promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among students and members of the community by providing a stimulating environment that encourages creativity and transforms ideas into practical and implementable projects It seeks to support students in developing their entrepreneurial skills through training programs, practical workshops, consultancy services, and competitions. The Division also works to build partnerships with public and private sector institutions to support startups and entrepreneurial ventures The Entrepreneurship Division serves as a leading platform for empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs and encouraging them to establish startups and community initiatives that contribute to sustainable economic and social developmentThe department admits students in the first academic year who have graduated from the scientific and applied branches of secondary school with a minimum average of 62%. The duration of study is four years, and the language of instruction is English. Upon graduation, students are awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, equivalent to the degrees granted in the same field by other Iraqi engineering colleges. Graduates also receive membership in the Iraqi Engineers Union, giving them the right to practice civil engineering in both governmental institutions and the private sector.

The Technology Incubator at Al-Mustaqbal University is a specialized platform dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship by transforming creative ideas into competitive and sustainable startups. The incubator provides an integrated environment that combines academic knowledge with practical expertise, empowering students, graduates, researchers, and entrepreneurs to develop innovative technological solutions that address market and societal needs.

The Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University aims to enhance the educational process by developing methods for assessing and measuring academic performance. This is achieved through the design and implementation of measurement tools that contribute to evaluating students academic achievement and skills. Additionally, the unit supports faculty members in developing tests and analyzing their results to ensure the attainment of outstanding learning outcomes in alignment with global academic standards.

Based on the University Order No.( 7/35/3038) dated (2/12/2023), the Unit for Persons with Special Needs was established at our university. The unit is affiliated with the Citizens Affairs Division to provide guidance, care, and the necessary support for persons with special needs. The unit’s affiliation was later amended from the Central Student Activities Department to the Citizens Affairs Division in accordance with University Order No.(7/35/5252) dated (10/12/ 2025).

The Study in Iraq Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University is one of the strategic units responsible for implementing and supporting the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which aims to attract Arab and international students to study at Iraqi universities. The unit works to facilitate admission and registration procedures and to provide academic and administrative guidance to incoming students, thereby contributing to enhancing Al-Mustaqbal University’s academic standing at both regional and international levels and supporting the internationalization of higher education in Iraq.
