The idea of introducing career development center emerged after the excessive increase in the number of graduates without there being a policy that regulates and addresses this increase. This unit was created on 7/25/2019, and it put dots on the letters by removing obstacles, finding effective solutions, and changing the patterns followed and trends in the search for... A job in the private sector instead of the public sector. The division sets the students and university graduates as its primary goal in terms of training and qualifying them for the labor market and in terms of qualifying them to enter the world of entrepreneurship, as well as developing the capabilities and skills of university students so that they can apply and compete for jobs after graduation through various training and qualification programs during their studies and in addition to creating prospects for cooperation. It works with the public and private sectors with the aim of marketing their projects. It also encourages them and provides the necessary support for them to complete the graduate studies process through international agreements.

Al-Mustaqbal University Launches an International Training Program for Pharmacy Students at the University of Nottingham

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening internationalization and academic openness, and building on the academic cooperation agreement with the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, the College of Pharmacy has announced the opening of applications for participation in an international academic and training program to be held at the University of Nottingham campus in the United Kingdom The one-week program will take place during the spring vacation and will include academic and training activities, as well as visits to educational and research laboratories. It will provide students with an opportunity to explore the latest practices in pharmaceutical education, scientific research, and clinical training, while engaging with an international academic environment As part of its efforts to support students and empower them to gain international academic experience, Al-Mustaqbal University will provide a 50% subsidy toward the training fees for students accepted into the program Applicants are required to be academically distinguished and high-achieving students with an advanced level of English proficiency, as well as the ability to represent the university in an exemplary manner. Applicants should also demonstrate motivation for learning and professional development, a willingness to participate in international academic activities, and commitment to the program’s requirements and guidelines

Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, discussed the priorities for the upcoming phase in scientific and academic affairs and institutional performance development during an expanded meeting with a number of directors of departments and units at the University Presidency, in the presence of Professor Dr. Iman Abdul Aziz, Director of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division The meeting addressed a review of performance and achievement indicators, with an emphasis on utilizing data and analysis to monitor outcomes, enhancing scientific research and academic publishing, strengthening academic and scientific partnerships, and advancing the University’s presence in rankings, in addition to developing the skills of students and graduates and aligning them with the requirements of the labor market The University President emphasized the importance of transforming partnerships and agreements into high-quality programs and projects with tangible impact, supporting applied research, and activating the role of the Department of Science and Technology Parks in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship and strengthening cooperation with both the public and private sectors The meeting comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s approach to consolidating proactive planning and continuous performance measurement, thereby enhancing the quality of scientific and academic work and supporting the University’s competitiveness and presence both locally and internationally

Al-Mustaqbal University Strengthens Partnerships with the Private Sector to Support the Development of Students and Graduates

As part of its efforts to strengthen the partnership between higher education and labor market needs, Al-Mustaqbal University signed a cooperation agreement with Akad Gate Company for the Training, Qualification, and Employment of the Iraqi Workforce, aimed at equipping students and graduates with the professional and practical skills necessary to meet the evolving demands of the labor market The agreement includes the implementation of joint training programs, specialized workshops, academic and practical activities, and professional seminars, contributing to the development of students’ and graduates’ skills and enhancing their professional opportunities Representing the university at the signing ceremony was Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, in the presence of Dr. Samir Badrawi, Director of Cultural and International Relations, and Prof. Dr. Iman Abdulaziz, Director of the Training, Employment, and Follow-up Division. President of Al-Mustaqbal University Meets University Students at UWE Bristol and Emphasizes the Importance of International Training

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to strengthen international academic openness and provide an educational environment that enables students to stay abreast of the latest scientific and technological developments, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, visited the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in the United Kingdom to review the progress of the international training program and follow up on the participation of the university’s students The visit included a tour of several training halls and laboratories, during which the University President reviewed the nature of the program and its specialized areas focusing on digital systems, artificial intelligence, and robotics. He also met with the participating students and listened to their experiences and the knowledge and skills they had gained throughout the training period The University President also participated in part of the training activities held at Bristol Robotics Laboratory, praising the students’ performance and their commitment to benefiting from the scientific resources and advanced technologies provided by leading academic and research institutions worldwide Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi emphasized that international training represents an important opportunity to broaden students’ perspectives and enhance their capabilities in modern scientific fields, particularly in light of the rapid developments taking place in technology and artificial intelligence.
