The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University continued, on Sunday, July 26, 2026, the activities of Day Two of the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Program – Level Two (Group B). The program is part of a series of training initiatives aimed at enhancing digital competencies and strengthening faculty members' ability to effectively integrate artificial intelligence technologies into teaching, scientific research, and university administration. The program was conducted under the direct supervision and follow-up of Professor Dr. Wael Jabbar Abdul Al-Nadawi, Director of the Continuing Education Center, reflecting the Center's commitment to ensuring the quality of its training programs and achieving their objectives in developing academic competencies while keeping pace with the latest advancements in artificial intelligence. The second day's sessions focused on advanced practical applications of artificial intelligence, including AI-assisted academic content creation, data analysis, academic and administrative task management, and Prompt Engineering to help participants maximize the capabilities of generative AI tools. The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University concluded the first batch of trainees in the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Course – Level One (A1), which was organized as part of the university’s plan to train and qualify its staff during the summer break. The program was held under the generous patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Professor Dr. Wael Jabbar Abdul-Nadawi. The course lasted for one full week, comprising five training days, and included a range of theoretical topics and practical applications in the field of artificial intelligence. It was delivered through a blended learning approach that combined in-person and online training, aiming to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills required in this vital field. At the conclusion of the course, participants shared their impressions and feedback through training program evaluation forms, which reflected a high level of satisfaction with both the course content and its implementation methods. Dates were also scheduled for participants to enroll in the next training level as part of the integrated Artificial Intelligence Literacy Program implemented by the Center. Throughout the training period, an atmosphere of cooperation, positive interaction, and commitment prevailed, contributing significantly to the achievement of the course objectives and enhancing the scientific and practical benefits gained by the participants. The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, organized a specialized training course entitled “Fundamentals of Nursing and First Aid”, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Ismael Mohammed Kadhem Al-Saadi. This initiative comes as part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to develop healthcare skills and promote first aid awareness across different segments of society. The course aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in nursing and first aid, enabling them to effectively respond to emergency situations and provide primary healthcare support in both professional and community settings. The course targets medical staff, company employees, university students, government sector workers, as well as anyone interested in acquiring life-saving skills and fundamental nursing practices. The training program covers several key topics, including: measuring vital signs accurately, administering intramuscular and intravenous injections, dealing with fractures, trauma, and bleeding, monitoring blood sugar and blood pressure, administering intravenous fluids, handling burns, wounds, and choking cases, as well as wound suturing techniques, diagnosis of common emergency cases, and the basics of pharmacology and emergency medications. The course is conducted in-person at the laboratories of the College of Nursing at Al-Mustaqbal University, with a total of 16 training hours distributed over four days (two days per week), starting from May 2, 2026. This course is part of a series of training programs organized by the Continuing Education Center, aiming to develop human capacities, enhance health awareness, and improve individuals’ readiness to respond to emergency situations.
