Al-Mustaqbal University launched today, Saturday, April 5, 2026, the activities of the Annual Al-Mustaqbal Book Fair – Fifth Edition, organized by the university, with the participation of 25 publishing houses from various countries around the world, under the slogan “Our Book, Our Future,” aiming to promote reading culture and support cultural engagement within the academic and community environment.
The fair is considered one of the most prominent cultural events at the level of Iraqi universities, as it brings together knowledge and creativity within an integrated academic environment that enhances cultural awareness among students and visitors.
The event features a diverse program, including panel discussions with prominent writers, poets, and intellectuals, as well as theatrical performances, inspiring art exhibitions, and a handicrafts bazaar.
The fair also includes the distribution of coupons for free book purchases, as part of efforts to encourage reading and motivate students to acquire books and expand their knowledge across various fields.
The university administration emphasized that this event represents an important cultural platform that promotes reading culture, openness to diverse intellectual experiences, and strengthens the connection between academia and the broader cultural community.
