The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a “Comprehensive Media” Course to Develop Media Skills

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a training course entitled “Comprehensive Media”, delivered by trainer Muntadher Hussein Abdul Ali, as part of its ongoing programs aimed at developing media skills among students and youth. The course aims to prepare participants for various fields of media work by equipping them with essential skills in news presentation, report production, and program hosting, in line with the evolving demands of the media industry. The course targets both university and non-university students interested in media, offering a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical training focused on modern media practices. The training program runs for one month, with four hours per week, starting from May 2, 2026, and is delivered in both in-person and online formats at Al-Mustaqbal University. The trainer brings extensive professional experience, working as a TV correspondent, news editor, and program presenter, and holds a Master’s degree in Media and Journalism from Malaysia. This course is part of a series of training programs offered by the Continuing Education Center, aimed at developing human capacities and supporting emerging media talents.

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a Training Course on “Fundamentals of Nursing and First Aid”

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, organized a specialized training course entitled “Fundamentals of Nursing and First Aid”, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Ismael Mohammed Kadhem Al-Saadi. This initiative comes as part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to develop healthcare skills and promote first aid awareness across different segments of society. The course aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in nursing and first aid, enabling them to effectively respond to emergency situations and provide primary healthcare support in both professional and community settings. The course targets medical staff, company employees, university students, government sector workers, as well as anyone interested in acquiring life-saving skills and fundamental nursing practices. The training program covers several key topics, including: measuring vital signs accurately, administering intramuscular and intravenous injections, dealing with fractures, trauma, and bleeding, monitoring blood sugar and blood pressure, administering intravenous fluids, handling burns, wounds, and choking cases, as well as wound suturing techniques, diagnosis of common emergency cases, and the basics of pharmacology and emergency medications. The course is conducted in-person at the laboratories of the College of Nursing at Al-Mustaqbal University, with a total of 16 training hours distributed over four days (two days per week), starting from May 2, 2026. This course is part of a series of training programs organized by the Continuing Education Center, aiming to develop human capacities, enhance health awareness, and improve individuals’ readiness to respond to emergency situations.

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a Workshop on “Stress Reduction Techniques” to Promote Mental Health

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the College of Education, organized a training workshop entitled “Stress Reduction Techniques”, as part of its ongoing efforts to support mental health and develop participants’ personal skills. The workshop aimed to equip participants with modern scientific and practical methods for managing psychological stress through a comprehensive training program based on the latest studies in applied psychology, contributing to enhancing psychological balance and improving academic and professional performance. The workshop covered several key topics, including: stress management strategies, relaxation techniques, emotional control skills, and methods for promoting mental well-being in daily life, in addition to practical applications that help participants effectively apply these skills. The workshop witnessed wide participation from university students and staff, as well as interested individuals from outside the university. Participants expressed their appreciation for the program’s content and its importance in their daily lives. This workshop comes as part of a series of programs and activities organized by the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, reaffirming its role in serving the community and developing human capacities in cooperation with various colleges.

Al-Mustaqbal University Launches a Practical AutoCAD Course to Enhance Students’ Engineering Skills

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a specialized training course in AutoCAD, targeting students and graduates of engineering disciplines, with the aim of enhancing their skills in engineering design and drafting using modern software tools. The course aimed to equip participants with the essential skills required to use AutoCAD efficiently, including the fundamentals of technical drawing and the preparation of both 2D and 3D designs in line with current labor market demands. The course covered several key topics, including: an introduction to the program interface and basic tools, drawing and modification commands, creation of accurate engineering drawings, working with layers, dimensioning, adding texts and symbols, as well as intensive practical applications on real-world engineering projects. The course also emphasized hands-on training, allowing participants to directly apply what they learned, thereby strengthening their practical abilities and enhancing their professional readiness. This course comes as part of a series of training programs organized by the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, aimed at developing students’ and graduates’ capabilities and preparing them to meet the evolving demands of the job market.

Al-Mustaqbal University Hosts Workshop on “Fundamentals of Pathological Analysis”

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with Ishraqa Scientific Organization for Education Development, organized a practical training workshop entitled “Fundamentals of Pathological Analysis”, held at the university’s halls in Babil Province, with the participation of a number of medical students and graduates. The workshop aimed to develop participants’ practical skills and enhance their competencies in laboratory testing by providing hands-on training on the most important principles and procedures in pathological analysis. The workshop covered several key topics, including: Sample collection, blood drawing techniques (Capillary & Venipuncture), blood smear analysis, urine analysis (physical and microscopic examination), PCV testing, blood group analysis (ABO), as well as practical training on sample preparation for each participant. The workshop was distinguished by its strong focus on practical application, allowing participants to engage directly in hands-on activities. This contributed to strengthening their scientific understanding and improving their professional skills, preparing them for the labor market with confidence and competence. This workshop comes as part of a series of training activities organized by the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, aimed at advancing the academic and practical level of students and graduates and meeting the needs of the medical job market.

Al-Mustaqbal University organizes an advanced training program in comprehensive first aid to enhance community preparedness

As part of its commitment to its humanitarian and developmental role, the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Ishraqa Ilmiya Organization for Education Development, organized a specialized training course in comprehensive first aid. The course aimed to develop participants’ practical skills and enable them to respond effectively to emergency situations. The program included advanced practical modules on primary rescue techniques and how to deal with injuries and critical cases, in accordance with the latest internationally approved practices, under the supervision of specialized trainers. The course also focused on promoting a culture of safety and prevention, as well as enhancing participants’ health awareness in a way that contributes to saving lives and reducing risks. This initiative comes within Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategy to build community capacities and provide high-quality programs that contribute to preparing qualified personnel equipped with essential skills that meet real-world demands and support sustainable development

The Continuing Education CenteratAl‑Mustaqbal University a scientific lecture as part of the Website Management CourseThe lecture was delivered by Abdul Ali Dakhel Jassam, with the participation of a number of staff members and individuals interested inwebsite management. The aim of the lecturewas to develop the skills of news editors in dealingwith media texts in English andto improve the quality of content writing on university websites. The lecture addressed the importance of using the English language in managing websites foracademic institutions, especially in preparing news and scientific activities that are published in both Arabic and English.This contributes to expanding the reach of information and highlighting the university’s scientific activities at the international level. The lecture focused on Partsof Speech as one of the essential foundations forconstructing English sentences. The main types were explained, including nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, and prealong with their roles in forming correct sentences used in writing news andmedia content. The lecture also included practical examples on how towrite university news in English. Appropriate linguistic stylesfor writing headlines and news content were explained, helping website editorsproduce accurate media content that reflects the academic level of the educational institution.

Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes Training Course on AutoCAD

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a training course on AutoCAD on March 3, 2026, with the participation of a number of students and individuals interested in developing their computer-aided engineering design skills. The course included several training topics focusing on the fundamentals of the AutoCAD program, methods of creating two-dimensional engineering drawings, and practical training on drawing and editing tools used in preparing engineering plans according to standard design practices. The program also featured practical exercises aimed at enabling participants to effectively use the software in preparing engineering drawings and technical plans, thereby enhancing their technical skills in modern engineering design applications. This course comes as part of the Continuing Education Center’s efforts to develop participants’ practical skills and provide them with applied knowledge that keeps pace with technological developments and labor market requirements in various fields.
