Al-Mustaqbal University’s Continuing Education Center Launches AutoCAD Training Course

As part of its ongoing efforts to develop engineering and technical skills, the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University held the first lecture of the AutoCAD training course today, Saturday, with the participation of students and individuals interested in engineering design and technical drawing. The course aims to enhance participants’ practical skills in using AutoCAD, introduce the fundamentals of engineering drawing and design, and develop their professional capabilities in utilizing modern engineering software. This training course is part of the Continuing Education Center’s ongoing programs to support academic and professional development and provide specialized training opportunities that meet the needs of students, engineers, and those interested in engineering fields.

Al-Mustaqbal University Concludes 2026 Summer Robotics Programs

Al-Mustaqbal University has successfully concluded its 2026 Summer Robotics Programs, with wide participation from students, under the official sponsorship of the Continuing Education Center – Al-Mustaqbal University, as part of the University’s commitment to supporting practical training programs and developing students’ scientific and technical skills. The programs included four specialized tracks in robotics, programming, and artificial intelligence: VEX GO, VEX IQ, VEX V5, and VEX AI. The tracks were designed to suit different age groups and levels of experience, contributing to the development of participants’ skills in design, programming, teamwork, and problem-solving. The programs were supervised by Internationally Certified TOT Trainer Dr. Musaddaq Maher Abdul-Zahra, Head of the Scientific Committee at the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate – Babylon Branch. The Continuing Education Center – Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to sponsoring and supporting specialized training programs that enhance students’ scientific and technical capabilities, connect academic knowledge with practical application, and keep pace with technological developments and labor market requirements. At the conclusion of the programs, the Center expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the training team and participants, reaffirming its continued support for specialized initiatives and training programs in artificial intelligence, robotics, and modern technologies, contributing to an educational and training environment that promotes creativity and innovation.

Continuation of the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Exam – Level Three The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University continues to conduct the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Course – Level Three Examination, organized for the university’s teaching staff and employees. The examination is held in implementation of the directives of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and in line with the university’s commitment to developing the skills of its academic and administrative staff and enhancing their ability to utilize modern artificial intelligence technologies in the university work environment. The examination is part of the Center’s efforts to assess participants’ understanding of the course content and ensure that they have acquired essential knowledge and skills in using modern artificial intelligence applications and tools. This contributes to improving performance efficiency and developing methods for completing academic and administrative tasks. Continuation of the AI Literacy Course for Faculty and Staff of Future University – Level Three The activities of the AI Literacy Course for Faculty and Staff of Future University – Level Three, organized by the Continuing Education Center, are ongoing in implementation of the directives of the President of Future University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and as part of the university’s efforts to enhance the skills of its academic and administrative staff and enable them to effectively utilize modern artificial intelligence technologies in the university work environment. The course aims to improve institutional performance through the effective use of modern AI applications and tools, contributing to the development of faculty and staff skills, improving task efficiency, and promoting digital transformation and innovation across various areas of the educational institution. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Mias Mohammed, a faculty member at the College of Engineering Technologies at Future University. He addressed a range of practical applications and practices related to artificial intelligence, enhancing participants’ ability to benefit from these technologies in academic and administrative fields. The lecture witnessed active engagement from the participants and constructive discussions, along with strong attendance reflecting the university staff’s interest in developing their capabilities and keeping pace with the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence technologies. The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University concluded the first batch of trainees in the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Course – Level One (A1), which was organized as part of the university’s plan to train and qualify its staff during the summer break. The program was held under the generous patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Professor Dr. Wael Jabbar Abdul-Nadawi. The course lasted for one full week, comprising five training days, and included a range of theoretical topics and practical applications in the field of artificial intelligence. It was delivered through a blended learning approach that combined in-person and online training, aiming to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills required in this vital field. At the conclusion of the course, participants shared their impressions and feedback through training program evaluation forms, which reflected a high level of satisfaction with both the course content and its implementation methods. Dates were also scheduled for participants to enroll in the next training level as part of the integrated Artificial Intelligence Literacy Program implemented by the Center. Throughout the training period, an atmosphere of cooperation, positive interaction, and commitment prevailed, contributing significantly to the achievement of the course objectives and enhancing the scientific and practical benefits gained by the participants. The training program runs for one month, with four hours per week, starting from May 2, 2026, and is delivered in both in-person and online formats at Al-Mustaqbal University. The trainer brings extensive professional experience, working as a TV correspondent, news editor, and program presenter, and holds a Master’s degree in Media and Journalism from Malaysia. The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, organized a specialized training course entitled “Fundamentals of Nursing and First Aid”, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Ismael Mohammed Kadhem Al-Saadi. This initiative comes as part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to develop healthcare skills and promote first aid awareness across different segments of society. The course aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in nursing and first aid, enabling them to effectively respond to emergency situations and provide primary healthcare support in both professional and community settings. The course targets medical staff, company employees, university students, government sector workers, as well as anyone interested in acquiring life-saving skills and fundamental nursing practices. The training program covers several key topics, including: measuring vital signs accurately, administering intramuscular and intravenous injections, dealing with fractures, trauma, and bleeding, monitoring blood sugar and blood pressure, administering intravenous fluids, handling burns, wounds, and choking cases, as well as wound suturing techniques, diagnosis of common emergency cases, and the basics of pharmacology and emergency medications. The course is conducted in-person at the laboratories of the College of Nursing at Al-Mustaqbal University, with a total of 16 training hours distributed over four days (two days per week), starting from May 2, 2026. This course is part of a series of training programs organized by the Continuing Education Center, aiming to develop human capacities, enhance health awareness, and improve individuals’ readiness to respond to emergency situations.
