Towards Smarter University Leadership: Day Two of the AI Training Program Continues at Al-Mustaqbal University

The activities of the second day of the advanced training course entitled "Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications in Leadership and Decision-Making", organized by the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, continued with the active participation of the University Vice Presidents, College Deans, and a number of academic and administrative leaders. The second day's sessions focused on advanced topics related to the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into institutional leadership and decision-making processes. Participants explored practical AI applications for data analysis, strategic planning, and improving the efficiency and quality of academic and administrative decision-making. The program also featured interactive discussions and hands-on activities, providing participants with the opportunity to exchange experiences and learn about international best practices for implementing artificial intelligence in higher education institutions, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University's vision for digital transformation and institutional innovation. Al-Mustaqbal University Launches an Advanced Training Course on Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications in Leadership and Decision-Making

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Advanced Training Course entitled "Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications in Leadership and Decision-Making" commenced on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The course is organized by the Continuing Education Center and is attended by the University Vice Presidents, College Deans, the Director of the Continuing Education Center, and a number of academic and administrative leaders. The course aims to enhance the capabilities of university leaders in utilizing artificial intelligence technologies to support leadership and decision-making processes. It also introduces participants to the latest practical AI applications that contribute to improving institutional performance, accelerating digital transformation, and supporting Al-Mustaqbal University's vision of keeping pace with global developments in artificial intelligence. The training program includes a combination of in-person and online lectures, as well as specialized hands-on practical sessions delivered by a distinguished group of experts and specialists. The program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively integrate AI technologies into academic and administrative work. The course is scheduled to continue for five days in accordance with the program prepared by the Continuing Education Center. Artificial Intelligence Incubator at Al-Mustaqbal University Officially Launches the 2026 Summer Robotics Programs Amid Strong Participation The Artificial Intelligence Incubator at Al-Mustaqbal University, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, has officially launched its 2026 Summer Robotics Programs. The programs began yesterday with remarkable participation from students and parents, continuing the outstanding success achieved by last year’s edition. These programs come after the incubator teams achieved remarkable accomplishments during the previous season, earning top positions in various robotics competitions and championships. These achievements have strengthened the program’s reputation as one of Iraq’s leading initiatives in robotics education and innovation. This year’s program includes four specialized training tracks designed to suit different age groups: 🤖 VEX GO Age Group: 6–9 years Designed to develop logical thinking and creativity while introducing children to the fundamentals of programming and robotics through fun, interactive activities. 🤖 VEX IQ Age Group: 10–14 years Focuses on programming, sensor control, smart robot design, and preparing students for local and international robotics competitions. 🤖 VEX V5 Age Group: 15–19 years Provides professional training in advanced robot design and programming, with participants working in engineering teams to develop integrated competitive robotics projects. 🤖 VEX AI Advanced Level – University Students Designed for experienced university students, this track focuses on artificial intelligence, computer vision, advanced algorithms, and preparing teams to compete in international VEX AI competitions. Conclusion of the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Course – Level One (A1)

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University concluded the first batch of trainees in the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Course – Level One (A1), which was organized as part of the university’s plan to train and qualify its staff during the summer break. The program was held under the generous patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Professor Dr. Wael Jabbar Abdul-Nadawi. The course lasted for one full week, comprising five training days, and included a range of theoretical topics and practical applications in the field of artificial intelligence. It was delivered through a blended learning approach that combined in-person and online training, aiming to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills required in this vital field. At the conclusion of the course, participants shared their impressions and feedback through training program evaluation forms, which reflected a high level of satisfaction with both the course content and its implementation methods. Dates were also scheduled for participants to enroll in the next training level as part of the integrated Artificial Intelligence Literacy Program implemented by the Center. Throughout the training period, an atmosphere of cooperation, positive interaction, and commitment prevailed, contributing significantly to the achievement of the course objectives and enhancing the scientific and practical benefits gained by the participants. The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, organized a specialized training course entitled “Fundamentals of Nursing and First Aid”, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Ismael Mohammed Kadhem Al-Saadi. This initiative comes as part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to develop healthcare skills and promote first aid awareness across different segments of society. The course aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in nursing and first aid, enabling them to effectively respond to emergency situations and provide primary healthcare support in both professional and community settings. The course targets medical staff, company employees, university students, government sector workers, as well as anyone interested in acquiring life-saving skills and fundamental nursing practices. The training program covers several key topics, including: measuring vital signs accurately, administering intramuscular and intravenous injections, dealing with fractures, trauma, and bleeding, monitoring blood sugar and blood pressure, administering intravenous fluids, handling burns, wounds, and choking cases, as well as wound suturing techniques, diagnosis of common emergency cases, and the basics of pharmacology and emergency medications. The course is conducted in-person at the laboratories of the College of Nursing at Al-Mustaqbal University, with a total of 16 training hours distributed over four days (two days per week), starting from May 2, 2026. This course is part of a series of training programs organized by the Continuing Education Center, aiming to develop human capacities, enhance health awareness, and improve individuals’ readiness to respond to emergency situations.
