Almustaqbal University Strengthens Its Engagement in Institutional and Academic Performance Evaluation

As part of its commitment to fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement, a delegation from Almustaqbal University participated in a workshop organized by the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation at the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The workshop focused on the mechanisms for implementing the performance evaluation forms for the 2025–2026 academic year. The University was represented by the Director of the Institutional Performance Evaluation Division within the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, along with a number of Directors of Quality Assurance Divisions across the University’s colleges. This participation reflects the University’s commitment to maintaining direct communication with the relevant authorities and keeping pace with the latest approved guidelines, standards, and requirements for performance evaluation. The workshop addressed the procedures for completing and managing the evaluation forms, with particular emphasis on understanding the indicators and standards, as well as the mechanisms for documenting and calculating them. These practices contribute to enhancing the accuracy of institutional data and supporting evidence, while improving the efficiency of evaluation procedures. This participation reaffirms Almustaqbal University’s commitment to advancing its institutional and academic performance system and transforming quality and evaluation requirements into sustainable practices that support continuous improvement, effective governance, and institutional excellence.

The Quality Assurance Division held a meeting to discuss institutional accreditation requirements and review the necessary procedures for completing them in accordance with approved standards. The meeting also addressed ways to expand international cooperation and strengthen academic engagement with reputable universities and educational and research institutions, contributing to the fulfillment of institutional accreditation requirements and the enhancement of relevant academic and administrative practices. Discussions further focused on mechanisms for documenting academic and scientific partnerships and translating them into measurable and verifiable outcomes and evidence to support the institutional accreditation process. The meeting reflects the Quality Assurance Division’s ongoing efforts to foster a culture of quality, advance institutional performance, and achieve accreditation requirements through a systematic and sustainable approach.

The workshop featured Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Karim Al-Saffar, Director of the Continuing Education Center at the Central Technical University, and was attended by quality assurance officials and members from various colleges and departments. The EFQM model is a comprehensive framework for assessing institutional performance, focusing on key areas such as leadership, strategy, resources, operations, and results.
