The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of water resources and their vital role in achieving sustainable development, as well as to discuss current challenges facing the water sector, particularly in Iraq, and ways to address them through efficient water use and conservation practices. Ahmed Al-Hariri, Managing Director of Elite Engineering Company for Smart Home Systems, Solar Energy Systems, and Software Solutions. The workshop introduced solar energy systems and smart building technologies, as well as the mechanism of integrating these systems using the global KNX system. It also highlighted the key features and types of smart systems, the differences between smart systems and smart products, and discussed opportunities for professional development in this field. In addition, the workshop reviewed the available training courses in Iraq that keep pace with the evolving demands of the labor market. The workshop witnessed the participation of a number of students and individuals interested in renewable energy and smart systems.
