This step aims to improve the management of employee attendance and departure through advanced digital technology. The new system has been successfully applied across various colleges. The Technological Incubator Division team highlighted that the system allows for better monitoring of workflow and provides detailed reports that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of administrative processes while reducing manipulation in attendance and departure records. This achievement is part of the division s strategy to support digital transformation and achieve a higher level of organization within institutions. Once again, the University of the Al mustaqbal achieves another accomplishment to add to its series of eternal successes, as it registered a remarkable activity among Iraqi universities in terms of publications in Scopus-indexed journals. Ten of its professors and researchers, led by the university president, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, appeared in the latest Scopus update among the top 500 researchers in terms of research output in Iraq for the period between 2019-2024. On this occasion, under the gracious patronage of the university president, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the University of the Al mustaqbal organized a ceremony to honor the researchers with the university shield and certificates of appreciation. The Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, opened the ceremony with a speech in which he highlighted the advanced positions the university has achieved in terms of both the quantity and quality of research output compared to its Iraqi counterparts. He also pointed out that the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, had previously praised the efforts of the professors and researchers at the University of theAl mustaqbal, particularly the university president, in an official letter of appreciation. The minister emphasized that they have set their sights on achieving a distinguished accomplishment worthy of Iraq's reputation through their outstanding contribution to advancing scientific and educational progress. The training course titled "Installation and Operation of Solar-Powered Water Systems" was inaugurated for the employees of the Babil Agriculture Department at the University of Al-Mustaqbal

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and as part of the efforts exerted by Al-Mustaqbal University to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the university has been adopting clear strategies for several years aimed at achieving these goals by 2030. In this context, the university has raised the slogan, “Al-Mustaqbal University… Towards a Sustainable University,” and has implemented a series of sustainable projects in the fields of clean energy, sustainable agriculture, and water, alongside research and awareness programs targeting all segments of society, focusing on achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. In support of the environment and renewable energy, the first training course organized by the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Energy Research, in collaboration with the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, was held on Sunday, 22/9/2024. The course began with a lecture presented by Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, in which he discussed the basic principles of designing and operating solar-powered water pumping systems. The lecture covered several detailed steps, including: Determining the required daily water quantity. Calculating the total elevation required for water pumping. Studying and evaluating solar radiation data. Calculating the pumping rate based on solar peak hours. Selecting the appropriate pump according to the system's requirements. Choosing a motor that matches the pump's speed and torque characteristics. Identifying the optimal system for operating the pump. Selecting the essential components for the solar system. Choosing the most suitable solar modules for the system. A group of employees from the Babil Agriculture Department and Agricultural Extension Directorates in the province participated in the course. The participants praised the course, highlighting its importance in enhancing their technical and practical skills. They also emphasized the necessity of adopting modern solar-powered irrigation systems in Babil due to their positive effects in reducing pollution and addressing water scarcity. The importance of effective water management in improving the quality and efficiency of agricultural production was also discussed. This course is part of the Energy Transitions Project in universities, which aims to promote the use of renewable energy through various pillars, including training and development, supporting small projects, innovation, scientific research, and entrepreneurship, all contributing to sustainable development

As part of his ongoing follow-up and the preparations for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year, the President of Al Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, held an extensive meeting with the staff of the Technology Incubator Division and the Council of the Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. The meeting was attended by the assistants, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, the Director of the Future Center for Artificial Intelligence, and several department heads from the university administration. The purpose of the meeting was to review and assess the accomplishments of the past academic year, including scientific plans related to research, conferences, seminars, and community service activities. Additionally, the meeting addressed the procedures needed for student reception and registration, assignment distribution, and the formation of scientific, administrative, and technical committees to ensure the optimal functioning of the educational process In his address, the President of the University praised the achievements realized during the previous period across various levels, acknowledging the contributions of all responsible parties, from senior staff to faculty and members. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and fostering institutional loyalty and commitment, which are crucial for success and sustaining accomplishments. He also highlighted that the Faculty of Engineering stands out due to its substantial research output and the diverse specializations that meet labor market demands, potentially playing a significant role in achieving sustainable development goals, which are among the university’s top priorities. In another part of his speech, the President pointed out the need to activate research activities in the newly established research centers, particularly since they focus on topics that have become top priorities for both local and international governments, such as renewable energy and artificial intelligence. He urged the promotion of research outputs in these vital fields and active contribution to supporting state sectors, in addition to robust scientific publication and participation in scientific forums. The President also stressed the importance of monitoring the progress in academic accreditation files, especially with the presence of scientific departments within the college that are poised for accreditation and entry into significant rankings. He concluded his remarks by reaffirming to the attendees, and through them to all university faculty, that achieving success and delivering the highest level of performance is a collective responsibility. For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the university administration for the substantial support that contributed to many achievements during the past academic year, confirming that the faculty council has approved an ambitious plan for the 2024-2025 academic year.
