AL-Mustaqbal University has entered into a hosting and implementation agreement for the Master's program "Electronic Systems Design Engineering" in partnership with USM University in Malaysia.

Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the AL-Mustaqbal University, announced the achievement of the first international partnership by launching the first Master's program in partnership with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) / Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering starting from the academic year 2024-2025. This is a joint program in Electronic Systems Design Engineering (MSc ESDE), which will be offered through the AL-Mustaqbal University using the same curriculum and courses approved at USM. This came after the final agreement was signed to launch the program during the visit of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the AL-Mustaqbal University, and his accompanying delegation to Malaysia to enhance scientific and international partnerships. This specialization accepts holders of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology Engineering, Control and Systems Engineering, Network and Information Engineering, and other related fields. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the AL-Mustaqbal University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hamza Mohammed Rida Yahya on behalf of the AL-Mustaqbal University. On the Malaysian side, it was signed by Professor Dato' Seri Abdul Rahman, President of USM, and Professor Dr. Shahril Sondi, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.


AL-Mustaqbal University... and discussions to activate mutual cooperation with Diyala University.

Upon the directive of Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of the AL-Mustaqbal University, and in line with the university's objectives to open avenues for international and local scientific and cultural cooperation, as well as in accordance with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's policy to enhance partnerships between public and private universities for mutual benefit in areas of common interest, a delegation from the AL-Mustaqbal University visited Diyala University to activate the memorandum of understanding previously signed between the two universities. Dr. Tahsin Hussein Mubarak, President of Diyala University, welcomed the visiting delegation, which included Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Academic Supervision and Academic Affairs, and Dr. Samir Ibrahim Badrawi, Director of Cultural Relations at the Presidency of AL-Mustaqbal University. Dr. Mubarak highlighted the importance of activating the agreement between the two universities, noting that there are many common areas that can be worked on together by forming working teams with specific timelines and prioritized schedules. It is worth mentioning that a scientific and cultural memorandum of understanding was signed earlier last year between the AL-Mustaqbal University and Diyala University. The memorandum included several key areas, foremost among them joint scientific research, participation in scientific conferences and workshops, exchange visits, benefiting from successful experiences in achieving sustainable development goals, capacity building for professors, curriculum updates, student activities, and the possibility of initiating quality entrepreneurial projects that embody the concept of a productive university.


AL-Mustaqbal University has signed a scientific and cultural memorandum of understanding with the University of Mosul.

A delegation from the AL-Mustaqbal University, including Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and Dr. Riyadh Hamed Salman, Director of Quality Assurance, visited the University of Mosul. They were received by Prof. Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmedi, President of the University of Mosul, and his scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Muneer Salem. Following a discussion on possible cooperation, both sides express their interest in partnering in research collaboration and other field of scientific affairs, a memorandum of understanding was signed to manifest this interest. in addition to collaborative research, the MOU covers several pillars of activities; conferences and workshops, visits exchange, joint supervision, and expertise exchanging and success stories in implementing sustainable development goals projects and activities.


AI-Mustaqbal University has signed a memorandum of understanding with Al-Rashid International University for Science and Technology in the Syrian Arab Republic.

The signed MOU is covered many topics; including collaborative research, partnering in conducting scientific conferences and workshops, exchanging visits and hosting visiting professors and summer students training sessions. Besides, expertise exchanging and success stories in implementing sustainable development goals projects and activities. The MOU has signed by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision at Future University, Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, on behafe of AI-Mustaqbal university's Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. While, Prof. Dr. Nasser Thalaj, has signed the MOU on behalf of Al-Rashid International University for Science and Technology. The memorandum signing ceremony was attended by the Director of Quality Assurance at Future University, Dr. Riyad Hamid Salman.

Within the framework of AL-Mustaqbal University's directives to enhance international scientific and cultural cooperation with reputable global universities, … and in harmony with the policies of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by His Excellency Minister Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, aiming to globalize Iraqi universities to achieve the desired benefits from mutual cooperation agreements, … the President of the University, Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, received a delegation from the well-known Nanjing University, China. The delegates are composed from several officials; academics and firm directors affiliated with Nanjing university. During the meeting, both sides presented their universities; ranks, structures, infrastructures, staff and students. Nanjing University is considered as one of the reputable global universities that has achieved advanced rankings in prominent international classifications such as, Shanghai Ranking and Times Higher Education Ranking, among others. The meeting is attended by Director Academic and Scientific Supervision, Dr. Mudhffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, as well as, directors of scientific affairs cultural relations divisions, alongside with number of consultants and other officials at the university.

The Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC), being the representative of Iraq to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), has launched a “celebration week” from April 28, 2024 until May 2, 2024 to celebrate the World Intellectual Day. AL-Mustaqbal University has participated in this event with a seminar conducted under the auspices of university president; Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, who delegated Assistant Professor Abbas Al-Bawi to attend the seminar. The seminar included a distinguished presentation, presented by Dr. Samir Ibrahim Abbas, Head of the Cultural Relations Division, and was attended by an alit of professors and students from the university. The Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control chose Al-Mustaqbal University to participate alongside other distinguished universities in celebrating this day.
