Upon the directive of Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of the AL-Mustaqbal University, and in line with the university's objectives to open avenues for international and local scientific and cultural cooperation, as well as in accordance with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's policy to enhance partnerships between public and private universities for mutual benefit in areas of common interest, a delegation from the AL-Mustaqbal University visited Diyala University to activate the memorandum of understanding previously signed between the two universities.
Dr. Tahsin Hussein Mubarak, President of Diyala University, welcomed the visiting delegation, which included Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Academic Supervision and Academic Affairs, and Dr. Samir Ibrahim Badrawi, Director of Cultural Relations at the Presidency of AL-Mustaqbal University. Dr. Mubarak highlighted the importance of activating the agreement between the two universities, noting that there are many common areas that can be worked on together by forming working teams with specific timelines and prioritized schedules.
It is worth mentioning that a scientific and cultural memorandum of understanding was signed earlier last year between the AL-Mustaqbal University and Diyala University. The memorandum included several key areas, foremost among them joint scientific research, participation in scientific conferences and workshops, exchange visits, benefiting from successful experiences in achieving sustainable development goals, capacity building for professors, curriculum updates, student activities, and the possibility of initiating quality entrepreneurial projects that embody the concept of a productive university.
