In Implementation to the Directives of Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, that focus in one part on opening Horizons of International Scientific & Cultural Cooperation with Reputable Global Universities, and being in harmony as well with the Policy of the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research, represented by His Excellency the Minister who in person has been emphasizing the vital necessity to globalizing Iraqi Universities in a way that would lead to achieving all required objectives, and meanwhile reinforcing their Reputation at International Forums, within this trend, a Memorandum of Scientific & Cultural Understanding has been signed between Al-Mustaqbal University and Nanjing University of China. It is remarkable to note that the Memorandum has included many issues, most notably Joint Scientific Research, Participation at Scientific Conferences and Workshops, Exchange of Visits, Hosting Visiting Professors, Making use of any Successful Experiences in the Field of Achieving Sustainable Development Goals, Promoting Academics, Summer Training of Students, Updating Curricula, in addition to the possibility of initiating Qualitative Pioneering Projects, which embody the Concept of a Productive University. We are obliged to note however that Nanjing University is one of the Reputable International Universities that have managed to achieve High Ranks in Prestigious Worldwide Rankings, such as Shanghai and Times Rankings as well as many others. The Memorandum has been signed by Prof Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific & Academic Supervision, being the Representative of Al-Mustaqbal University, and Dr. Ziyad Tariq Mohsen, Representative of Nan Jing University, due to being in charge of Scientific Cooperation issues of the Chinese University in Iraq. The Signing Ceremony has been attended by a group of Department Directors as well as Consultants at the University Presidency.
