A Delegation of Engineering - Technology College Pays a Visit to Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) of Malaysia For the purpose of reinforcing Scientific & Research Cooperation between Al-Mustaqbal University & Universiti Tenaga Nasional of Malaysia, in addition to establishing Research Centers specialized in the Field of Energy at Al-Mustaqbal University, a Delegation of Engineering & Technology College has paid a Visit to Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) of Malaysia. It is remarkable to note that the Delegation has been headed by Assist Prof Dr. Azher M. Abid, Dean of Engineering College, where they have been taken in a tour through UNITEN, being guided by Professor Johnny, to get acquainted with the Equipment and Labs specialized in Renewable Energy as well as the Research Projects implemented by Post-Graduate Students. During their Tour, the Delegation Members have visited the Following Laboratories: 1. Thin-Film Solar Cell Lab 2. Bio Fuel Lab 3. Bio Gas Lab 4. Smart Energy Lab Professor Johnny has identified the most important objectives of Research Centers at UNITEN, and the vitality of Applied Projects in solving the problems that Companies & Factories might confront in Malaysia. We should note that there has been an agreement between the two Universities to establish a Research Center for Energy at Al-Mustaqbal University, and thus UNITEN University does effectively and positively participate in transferring its experiences in the Field of Energy to Al-Mustaqbal University. Finally, we are obliged to note that the Foundation Stone for this Center has been laid by His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research during his visit to Al-Mustaqbal University.
