Classical statistical methods are commonly applied in distribution theory across various disciplines; however, they often fall short in addressing uncertainty, imprecision, and indeterminacy. In situations when classical distributions fail, such as when there is uncertainty, ambiguity, or missing information, the neutrosophic lindley distribution (NLiD) is important because it models indeterminate data. The classical Lindley distribution is extended by incorporating neutrosophic notions, providing flexibility for methods of ambiguous inference. Applications involving reliability analysis, risk management, and other domains with internal data uncertainties are especially well-suited for NLiD. This paper introduces the neutrosophic Lindley distribution (NLiD) to incorporate imprecision into the statistical framework. We derive key properties of the NLiD, including survival, hazard, and reverse hazard functions, as well as the odds ratio, Mills ratio, mean, and variance. Additionally, we explore entropy measures such as Neutrosophic Renyi, Neutrosophic Tsallis, and Neutrosophic Arimoto entropies, complemented by a simulation study and graphical analysis. Maximum likelihood estimation is employed to estimate the distribution parameters, with simulation validating the accuracy of these estimates. Our findings reveal that the proposed distribution can exhibit symmetric, left-skewed, and right-skewed characteristics. An empirical evaluation using a on dioxin consumption in food demonstrates that the proposed model is effective and practical for real-world application. © 2025 Muhammad Aslam, et al.

In this article, we design a double acceptance sampling plan for the Nadarajah-Haghighi (NH) distribution when the lifetime is truncated. The minimum sample sizes necessary to ensure a certain mean lifetime for selected acceptance numbers and consumer’s confidence levels are obtained. The operating characteristic function and the associated producer’s risks are studied. We also analyze the minimum ratios of the mean life to the specified life. Real data and simulated examples are provided to illustrate the results of the paper. © 2025 International Academic Press

This paper introduces an innovative control chart customized for the gamma distribution, specifically crafted to handle uncertain conditions through repetitive sampling. The control chart's coefficients, along with the probabilities of remaining in control or detecting a shift, and the average run lengths, were derived by assuming the symmetrical behavior typical of the normal distribution, using the neutrosophic interval method. The performance of this chart was evaluated by assessing average run lengths under various uncertain process conditions. The chart's efficacy in identifying both minor and major process shifts was investigated. This study also provides a comparison between the newly proposed chart and existing ones. To demonstrate its practical utility, an example from the healthcare sector is provided. Both simulation results and this practical example confirm that the new control chart is effective in swiftly identifying deviations in processes, making it a valuable tool for managing uncertainty. © 2025, University of New Mexico. Gamma-Poisson (GaPoi) distribution modeling is significant for monitoring the quality of production processes, particularly the number of nonconformities. We designed a cumulative sum control chart based on the GaPoi distribution (CUSUM-GaPoi) that demonstrated superior efficiency compared to existing charts for monitoring production processes. The run-length characteristics were analyzed using a Monte Carlo simulation approach to measure the performance of the CUSUM-GaPoi chart. The proposed chart revealed the process out-of-control earlier than existing charts. Finally, manufacturing industrial data from wafer processes were utilized to highlight the practical implications of the proposed chart, showing that it detects the number of product nonconformities earlier than existing charts. © 2025 KIIE

This paper aims to provide a multiple dependent state (MDS) sampling technique for light-emitting diode luminous intensities under indeterminacy by employing time truncated sampling schemes and the Weibull distribution. This indicates that ASN is significantly impacted by the indeterminacy parameter. Furthermore, a comparison is shown between the existing, indeterminate sampling plans and the recommended sample designs. The projected sampling technique is illustrated by calculating the luminous intensities of LEDs using the Weibull distribution. Based on the findings and practical example, we conclude that the suggested strategy needs a smaller sample size than SSP and the current MDS sampling plan. © The Author(s) 2024.

The purpose of this study is to explore the moderating effect of green supply chain management (GSCM) on the relationships between digital innovation (DII), digital marketing (DIM), digital technology (DIT), and corporate performance (COP) in the Iraqi textile sector. Researchers utilized a cross-sectional research methodology to collect data from 219 managers of the textile industry via a self-administered survey questionnaire using a feasible sampling technique. Quantitative research methodology and Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was utilized. The regression analysis findings indicate that DII and DIM have a positive and statistically significant effect on GSCM and GSCM, as well as an indirect impact on COP. On the other hand, the DIT had negligible effects on GSCM and COP and negligible indirect effects on COP. The GSCM has a substantial impact on COP as well. With these findings, the research provided a significant body of literature to the existing body of knowledge, which could assist future researchers in pursuing their research in novel ways. The study could help researchers and policymakers understand the significance of DIT, DII, and DIM for enhancing GSCM and improving corporate performance. © 2022, International Forum of Management Scholars. Among the many purposes of the organization is performance. Therefore, performance has become necessary for firms because it can enhance competitive advantage. Through the information system, management innovation (MAI), technological innovation (TECI), process innovation (PRSI), and production innovation (PRI) could help to improve company performance (BP) (INS). Therefore, the primary purpose of this study is to investigate how INS influences the linkages between MAI, TECI, PRSI, PRI, and BP in the Iraqi pharmaceutical business. The survey instrument was delivered to 300 pharmaceutical business managers using a convenient sampling technique. The quantitative research methodology and Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) regression results suggest that MAI, TECI, PRSI, and PRI have positive and statistically significant effects on BP and INS. Similarly, the INS has a large and favorable impact on BP. The mediating effect results demonstrate that MAI, PRSI, and TECI have substantial effects in the presence of INS, indicating that INS is a strong mediator between their relationships. In contrast, PRI and BP have negligible mediating effects. The findings reveal the significance of the information system, which is employed as a mediating variable, and the other two independent variables, PRSI and PRI, indicating that this study is a pioneering effort using this extended framework. Consequently, this study contributed to the existing literature on notable discoveries. © 2022, International Forum of Management Scholars. All rights reserved.

Information technology governance (ITG), which influences how firms develop and capture the value and outperform competitors such as stakeholders, is frequently regarded as a fundamental pillar of organizational success. Implementing ITG is one thing, but project managers must also assess the practicability of the undertaking. This article addresses this issue by describing how ITG and stakeholder management are linked in international IT project management. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the association between ITG and SM, with market volatility (MT) as a moderator inside global IT projects. The self-administered survey questionnaire was used to collect data from managers of multinational IT organizations using a technique of easy sampling. The study utilized a quantitative methodology, a cross-sectional design, and the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis tool. The findings highlight the relationship between good ITG and stakeholder management strategies for the proactive management of international IT projects. The results suggested that IGT and MT significantly and positively affected SM. The indirect result demonstrated that MT moderates the interaction between IGT and SM considerably and favorably. Based on these findings, it is advised that in the future, project managers and other key project participants will need to employ a relationship management strategy to link ITG and stakeholder participation. In a practical sense, the study examined how ITG was implemented in several global IT projects under stakeholder management. © 2022 Editora Mundos Sociais. All rights reserved.
