The purpose of this work is to fabricate of PVA/PEG/CeO2 nanocomposites and examining their optical characteristics used in different optical devices. The PVA/PEG/CeO2 nanocomposites were prepared by using casting method with different concentrations of PVA/PEG blend and CeO2 nanoparticles. The optical properties were tested at wavelengths range from 200nm to 800nm. The analysis showed that the CeO2 NPs content was increased, the absorption of PVA/PEG/CeO2 nanocomposites was enhanced whereas the transmittance was reduced. Whenever the CeO2 NPs content was increased, the band gap was reduced. With addition of CeO2 NPs, the other optical properties of PVA/PEG/CeO2 nanocomposites were enhanced. Lastly, the optical characteristics outcomes showed that the PVA/PEG/CeO2 nanocomposites are being used in a variety of optical devices. ©2024 The authors.

The dielectric characteristics of PVA/PEG/In2O3 nanostructures were tested to use in various electric nanodevices. The films of nanostructures of PVA/PEG/In2O3 were synthesized by casting solution technique. The dielectric characters of PVA/PEG/In2O3 nanostructures were determined. Results expressed that the dielectric parameters of PVA/PEG were rise with rise in the In2O3 NPs ratio. The performance of ϵ', ϵ" and σAC with frequency illustrated that the ϵ' and ϵ" reduced whereas the σAC rises with rise in frequency. The final results demonstrated the PVA/PEG/In2O3 nanostructures may be suitable in various electrical nanodevices. © 2022 Lavoisier. All rights reserved.
