Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications Announces the Completion of a Smart Classroom System

Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications announced the completion of the smart classroom system project in the center’s hall, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khudhair Al-Abadi and implemented by Eng. Hassanein Taha Shalaan and Eng. Ahmed Saleem Munger. This project comes as part of the center’s efforts to develop its technological infrastructure and enhance the use of artificial intelligence in managing educational and training halls. The system provides an integrated environment based on automation and smart control of lighting, sound, and visual display, in addition to efficient attendance organization and event management. The center confirmed that the smart classroom system represents an advanced step toward digital transformation and contributes to improving the experience of users, including lecturers and trainees, by providing modern interactive tools that support the educational and training process. Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications Announces the Completion of Applied Projects for Biomedical Engineering Students

Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications announced the completion of a number of applied projects for students of the Biomedical Engineering Technologies Department, as part of its efforts to support the educational process and enhance students’ practical skills. These projects were carried out under the supervision of the center, with the follow-up of Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khudhair Al-Abadi and Dr. Feryal Ibrahim Al-Dhafeeri, focusing on developing students’ skills and enabling them to apply their academic knowledge in an advanced practical environment. The center أكد that these projects represent an important step in preparing qualified engineering cadres capable of keeping pace with modern technological developments, especially in the fields of artificial intelligence and engineering applications. It also noted that supporting applied projects enhances students’ spirit of innovation and prepares them for the labor market by equipping them with practical experience that improves their professional competencies. Al-Mustaqbal AI Center Develops a Smart Medical Device Project at Al-Mustaqbal University

Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Anesthesia Techniques, has developed an applied medical project represented by designing a smart device that calculates intravenous drip rate per minute, equipped with an audio alarm system when the fluid is finished. The project aims to enhance healthcare efficiency and improve the accuracy of medical monitoring by utilizing artificial intelligence technologies and modern engineering solutions. The center explained that this innovation helps reduce human errors in calculating IV drip rates and provides an accurate tool that supports healthcare staff in performing their duties more efficiently. The project also strengthens students’ practical skills and promotes innovation in the medical field, keeping pace with rapid technological advancements in the healthcare sector. Al-Mustaqbal University Participates in the 4th Annual Iraqi Artificial Intelligence Forum

Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the 4th Annual Iraqi Artificial Intelligence Forum, held on Monday, 16 February 2026, at University of Information Technology, through the participation of Prof. Dr. Nidhal Al-Abadi, Director of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications. His participation was based on an official invitation to chair the jury committee of the National Competition for Artificial Intelligence Developers dedicated to university students, and on behalf of the President of the University. The forum was held under the patronage of the Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Helo Mustafa, and was attended by the Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils, Dr. Abdul Majid Ben Ammar, a representative of UNESCO, and a number of Iraqi academic and scientific figures. The forum included a panel discussion entitled: “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Applications on Reshaping Developmental Reality in Vital Strategic Sectors (Education, Agriculture, Oil, Environment, and Industry)”, in addition to honoring the top three winners of the National AI Developers Competition. Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khudhair Al-Abadi was honored by the Minister with a commemorative shield in recognition of his scientific contributions and his role in supporting and sponsoring the artificial intelligence competition. This participation reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening its scientific presence in national forums and supporting initiatives related to artificial intelligence and sustainable development in Iraq.
