Under the kind patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and as part of the preparations for Future Sustainability Week, Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University continues to support student engagement and encourage innovation by following up on student projects, developing their ideas, and transforming them into practical applications that serve society and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These efforts involve close follow-up by the Center’s academic and technical staff throughout the various stages of student project development, beginning with generating and refining ideas and identifying the problems to be addressed, through designing technological solutions and developing initial prototypes. The staff also provide the necessary scientific and technical guidance to improve project quality and enhance performance. The projects focus on applying modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and intelligent systems, to develop sustainable solutions to environmental and societal challenges. This approach helps students strengthen their creative thinking, scientific research, and teamwork skills while bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical application. This initiative highlights the role of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications in empowering students to demonstrate their scientific and technical capabilities and preparing their projects for participation in Future Sustainability Week. It also reflects the spirit of innovation and social responsibility among Al-Mustaqbal University students. These efforts align with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through promoting practical learning and developing students’ skills; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, by supporting innovation and technological solutions; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through strengthening collaboration among students, academic staff, and technical teams to develop projects with sustainable impact. The Center continues to provide a supportive scientific environment that fosters creativity and innovation, nurtures promising student talent, and contributes to the success of Future Sustainability Week, further strengthening Al-Mustaqbal University’s role in artificial intelligence, innovation, and sustainable development.
