Under the kind patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University held a dialogue session with a group of students, moderated by Dr. Faryal Ibrahim Jabbar and attended by several Center staff members. The session aimed to strengthen direct communication with students, listen to their ideas and perspectives, and support their academic aspirations and innovative projects. The session featured an interactive discussion on the importance of transforming students’ ideas into practical, implementable projects and the role of the university environment in fostering creativity and innovation. Discussions also addressed the challenges students encounter while developing their scientific and technical projects, as well as ways to overcome these challenges through academic guidance, technical support, and continuous collaboration with the Center’s staff. Dr. Faryal Ibrahim Jabbar emphasized the importance of providing students with a genuine opportunity to express their ideas and proposals and encouraging them to take initiative and think creatively. These efforts contribute to developing their analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills while strengthening their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical solutions that address real-world needs. The contributions of the Center’s staff also highlighted mechanisms for developing student projects and making effective use of available scientific and technical resources. Students were encouraged to explore projects in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, intelligent systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), and other emerging technological fields. This dialogue session is part of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications’ ongoing efforts to provide an interactive scientific environment that nurtures students’ ideas, encourages their participation in applied projects, and strengthens communication between students and academic and technical staff. These efforts aim to support the development of high-quality projects that can be further enhanced and presented at scientific exhibitions and events. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. It promotes practical learning, encourages innovation, and strengthens collaboration between students and academic and technical teams. Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications continues to support students, empower their creative initiatives, and foster a culture of dialogue, collaboration, and innovation. Through these efforts, the Center seeks to transform students’ ideas into scientifically valuable and practical projects that contribute to serving society.
