Official Announcement of Suspension of Working Hours On the occasion of the Arba'een commemoration of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and based on the Cabinet's decision to suspend official working hours, and to allow university staff the opportunity to participate in commemorating this blessed occasion and serving the pilgrims, and given the difficulty of accessing the university during the pilgrimage days, the University of the Future Council has decided to suspend official working hours as follows: * Starting Thursday, July 30, 2026, official working hours will be suspended for all university staff, with the exception of those on duty, and the holiday will continue until Thursday, August 6, 2026. * Official working hours will resume for all staff on Saturday, August 8, 2026. We ask God Almighty to accept everyone's good deeds and acts of worship, to grant success to the pilgrims and those serving Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and to protect Iraq and its people, and to perpetuate the blessings of security and stability upon it.
