The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop entitled “Modern Teaching and Learning Strategies” on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The workshop was held at 10:30 AM in Lecture Hall (3B) at the Engineering Technologies Building, with the participation of faculty members and academics interested in developing the educational process. The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Madhloom Al-Mamouri, a faculty member at the College of Education, University of Babylon. It addressed modern teaching and learning strategies and their importance in enhancing academic performance, focusing on active learning, cooperative learning, brainstorming, problem-solving, blended and electronic learning, as well as the role of technology and artificial intelligence in improving educational quality. Representing the Department of Aviation Technologies Engineering at the College of Engineering Technology, Assistant Lecturer Hiba Hussein Abdul Abbas, a member of the Quality Assurance Committee, participated in the workshop. Her participation reflects the department's commitment to engaging in scientific and professional development activities related to quality assurance and academic accreditation while keeping pace with advancements in modern teaching methodologies. The workshop also discussed mechanisms for designing innovative learner-centered educational activities, employing modern assessment methods to measure learning outcomes, and developing faculty members' skills in implementing effective teaching strategies and promoting interactive and collaborative learning environments.
