As part of its efforts to promote health awareness and strengthen the culture of prevention and social responsibility, the Department of Aviation Technology Engineering at the College of Engineering Technology, Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Women's Empowerment Committee, organized a breast cancer early detection awareness campaign on Monday, October 19, 2026, in conjunction with the global Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Pink October). The campaign was initiated and conducted by two faculty members from the Department of Aviation Technology Engineering, Assistant Lecturers Hiba Hussein Abdul Abbas and Al-Buraq Haider Mohsen, with the aim of promoting health education and raising awareness about the importance of early breast cancer detection among female students, academic staff, and administrative personnel. The campaign highlighted the importance of regular medical screenings and early detection in improving treatment success rates. It also encouraged the adoption of healthy practices and preventive health awareness to reduce the risks associated with the disease.
