Al-Mustaqbal University has further strengthened its position in the field of sustainability by ranking first among private universities in Iraq and third among all Iraqi public and private universities in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026. This advancement reflects the University’s continuous efforts to develop a sustainable campus, adopt environmentally responsible practices, enhance resource efficiency, and support academic and community initiatives related to sustainability, in line with its vision and motto, “Towards a Sustainable University.” On this occasion, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, expressed his pride in this achievement and extended his congratulations to the University’s faculty members, staff, and students, appreciating the collective efforts that contributed to attaining this distinguished ranking.
