As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening its presence in scientific and academic forums and expanding cooperation with academic and industrial institutions, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the Technical Engineering College, participated in the Fourth International Scientific Conference on Modern Technologies in the Oil and Gas Industries, organized in cooperation and partnership with the College of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology and the Midland Refineries Company. Al-Mustaqbal University was represented by an academic delegation comprising a number of deans and heads of specialized departments. This participation reflects the University’s commitment to promoting scientific communication, exchanging expertise, and strengthening collaboration among researchers, academics, and specialists in engineering and industrial fields. The conference featured discussions of a wide range of recent scientific studies and research, along with presentations on advanced technologies and emerging trends in the fields of oil and gas industries and sustainable energy. These activities highlighted the importance of linking scientific research with industrial applications and keeping pace with rapid technological developments in the energy sector. At the conclusion of the conference, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd was honored with the Shield of Excellence in recognition of his distinguished academic presence and active contribution to the conference. Al-Mustaqbal University and its participating delegation were also honored with shields and certificates of appreciation in recognition of their efforts to support scientific research and promote academic and technological cooperation. This participation comes within Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the presence of its academic staff at international scientific conferences and events, encourage the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and establish effective partnerships with academic and industrial institutions in support of scientific and engineering development.
