The activities coordinators in the Intelligent Medical Systems Department, College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness activity on Saturday, April 25, 2026, titled “Women’s Empowerment as a Gateway to Achieving Justice,” held on campus with the participation of a number of faculty members and students. This activity aimed to highlight the importance of women’s empowerment as a fundamental pillar for achieving social justice, promoting the principle of equal opportunities, and supporting the role of women in various scientific and professional fields. The activity included a range of awareness events, such as discussion sessions and educational lectures addressing concepts of justice and equality, as well as the role of women in building a balanced and sustainable society. It also featured successful examples of women who have achieved distinguished accomplishments in various fields. The activity was supervised by Asst. Lecturer Najat Hameed Jassim, Programmer Aya Jamal Hadi, and Programmer Huda Khudair Hani, who made outstanding efforts in organizing and managing the event. The activity witnessed positive engagement from attendees through active participation in discussions and idea-sharing, reflecting a growing awareness of the importance of women’s empowerment and its role in achieving justice within society. The department emphasized its commitment to organizing such activities that contribute to spreading a culture of equality and strengthening human values, in line with the university’s vision of building a conscious and responsible academic community. This activity comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 5 (Gender Equality), Goal 4 (Quality Education), and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
