It also seeks to establish a distinguished and reputable academic and educational institution characterized by excellence and strength in scientific research.

The mission of the Department of Aviation Engineering Technologies is to prepare highly qualified and competent technical engineering graduates in the field of aviation engineering by providing advanced academic and practical education that enhances students’ problem-solving abilities, develops their leadership and teamwork skills, and reinforces the values of commitment to quality, ethical conduct, and respect for others.

The department also seeks to develop innovative technologies and solutions that contribute to serving society at both the local and global levels, conduct modern and specialized scientific research in the field of aviation technology, and strengthen cooperation with civil and military organizations and institutions in ways that support the effective utilization and promotion of specialized skills and expertise.

Furthermore, the department provides consultation and guidance regarding the acquisition of civil aviation licenses and air service training licenses issued by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), in addition to licenses and qualifications related to ground support services and other relevant fields.
