In line with the vision and directives of Al-Mustaqbal University President, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, to expand international partnerships and strengthen the University’s global academic and research presence, Al-Mustaqbal University held a consultative meeting with the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) to explore opportunities for academic and scientific cooperation and develop joint initiatives and programs that promote knowledge exchange and capacity building, particularly in agriculture and sustainable development. The Al-Mustaqbal University delegation was headed by Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadeq Al-Zuhairy, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, accompanied by Dr. Tahani Jawad of the College of Agricultural Technologies and Ms. Elaf Salah Mahdi. Dr. Haider Jawad Kazim attended as a representative of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at Iraq’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. UC Davis was represented by Dr. Christopher Marconi, Director of Business Development and International Programs. The meeting emphasized the importance of continued coordination to identify practical avenues for cooperation and establish an academic partnership based on shared interests and complementary expertise, paving the way for impactful and sustainable initiatives.
