The Information Technology Division at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in an extensive meeting chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, with the attendance of several deans, heads of departments, and specialists in the fields of Information Technology, Programming, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity. The meeting addressed a number of strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the university’s position in digital transformation and technological leadership through the development of digital skills, the promotion of innovation, and the establishment of academic partnerships with leading international universities. Discussions emphasized the importance of integrating advanced technologies—particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity—into both academic and administrative environments, contributing to the preparation of a new generation of programmers and innovators capable of meeting the evolving demands of local and global labor markets. The Information Technology Division reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the university’s digital transformation agenda by enhancing technological infrastructure, advancing digital services, and actively contributing to the implementation of strategic initiatives that reinforce Al-Mustaqbal University’s standing among Iraq’s leading higher education institutions.
