Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi, the final theoretical examinations for the first semester at the College of Administrative Sciences – Al-Mustaqbal University officially commenced in an organized and academically supportive atmosphere, reflecting the university’s commitment to adopting modern and fair assessment methods. The examinations were conducted under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, Professor Dr. Haider Ali Mohammed Al-Dulaimi, with close follow-up by the College Measurement and Evaluation Unit, represented by Assistant Lecturer Karar Haider Hassoun, and with the active participation of academic and technical staff, contributing to a well-organized and stable examination environment. Field follow-up of the examinations was also carried out under the direct supervision of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University through the use of a theoretical examination evaluation form, monitoring organizational and technical aspects, invigilators’ performance, students’ feedback, and the extent to which examination papers complied with approved specifications, in addition to monitoring the performance of examination committees in accordance with approved measurement and evaluation standards. The College of Administrative Sciences adopts both the semester system and the Bologna system in its assessment process, while adhering to clear evaluation criteria that ensure objectivity and equal opportunities, and providing safety and organizational requirements to ensure the smooth conduct of examinations. This comes within the framework of Al-Mustaqbal University’s orientation toward strengthening modern measurement and evaluation systems and enhancing academic quality.
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University of Al-Mustaqbal, and under the supervision of Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Associate Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi, the first semester examinations at the College of Dentistry – University of Al-Mustaqbal commenced in an organized and academic atmosphere, reflecting the university’s commitment to modern and fair assessment methods. The examinations were conducted under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Azraa Yahya Mohammed Al-Hijazi, with field follow-up by Dr. Hassan Khalid Hassan, Scientific Assistant, and Dr. Mohammed Ammar Emad, Head of the College’s Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The focus was on strict adherence to exam instructions and the organization of the examination process in line with quality and accreditation standards. The University’s Measurement and Evaluation Unit also carried out field supervision using a comprehensive evaluation form, monitoring organizational and technical aspects, the performance of invigilators, student feedback, and the compliance of exam papers with approved specifications, in addition to overseeing the performance of examination committees according to established assessment standards. The examinations were conducted in a calm and well-organized environment, with students fully adhering to ministry instructions, reflecting the university’s commitment to providing an ideal academic environment that ensures the success of the examination process and demonstrates Al-Mustaqbal University’s dedication to modern assessment methods to enhance the quality of higher education.
The final practical examinations for the first semester of second-year students at the College of Medicine – University of Al-Mustaqbal commenced on December 23, 2025, with the adoption of the latest measurement and assessment systems approved by the University of Al-Mustaqbal. The examinations were conducted using the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) system for the Anatomy course, in a well-organized and academically sound environment that reflects the University’s commitment to applying modern, fair, and objective assessment methods. The examinations were held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University of Al-Mustaqbal, with follow-up by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the University, and under the direct supervision of Dr. Walaa Louay Al-Fallouji, Dean of the College of Medicine. They were also monitored by Dr. Ban Dhahir Al-Shammari, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the College of Medicine, with the active participation of the academic and technical staff of the College. The OSCE system was based on multiple stations designed to assess students’ practical skills and applied understanding of the course content, according to clear and standardized evaluation criteria that ensure objectivity and equal opportunities for all students. Safety and organizational requirements were fully observed, with precise time management and well-regulated movement between stations to ensure a smooth and accurate examination process. The implementation of this system aligns with the strategic direction of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the University of Al-Mustaqbal toward adopting and applying the latest scientific methods in assessment for both practical and theoretical examinations. This approach is consistent with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards, contributes to aligning assessment methods with contemporary academic benchmarks, and strengthens the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical skills, thereby preparing students academically and professionally in accordance with recognized measurement, evaluation, and performance quality standards.
As part of its strategy aimed at establishing a solid educational system and continuously improving the university environment, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University carried out an intensive series of field visits to the medical colleges (Human Medicine – Dentistry – Pharmacy – Nursing – Health and Medical Technologies) at the university. These visits were conducted under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi. A committee from the Measurement and Evaluation Unit conducted the visits to closely observe the academic workflow within these vital colleges. The main focus areas of the visits included monitoring the progress and completion rates in preparing the “Skills Guide for Assessing Practical and Applied Courses” specific to each college, in addition to conducting a comprehensive review of the assessment and evaluation files maintained within each college, and following up on preparations and readiness for training students on examination procedures for the first semester. This step reaffirms Al-Mustaqbal University’s and its Measurement and Evaluation Unit’s commitment to implementing advanced academic and scientific plans, striving to enhance educational outcomes, and ensuring that all appropriate conditions are provided to support both students and faculty members, thereby strengthening the university’s academic standing.
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi, and the guidance and follow-up of Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Al-Alam, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, the training and development plan of the Unit for the current year was discussed. During the meeting, the main components of the training plan and its implementation mechanisms were reviewed, along with the discussion of collaborative efforts with the Measurement and Evaluation Center at Mansoura University in the Arab Republic of Egypt. This discussion followed the completion of the Training and Development Manual for Measurement and Evaluation, which serves as a fundamental framework for the training and development plan at Al-Mustaqbal University. The importance of this plan lies in the university’s commitment to enhancing institutional performance, achieving high-quality educational outcomes, strengthening adherence to accredited academic standards, and supporting Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to provide an advanced educational environment that meets the requirements of continuous development.
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi, with the follow-up of Prof. Dr. Saad Fattah Allah Al-Alim, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, the second meeting of the Reporting Committee and the Training & Development Committee was held at the Unit’s headquarters. During the meeting, the training plans of both committees were discussed, and proposals were presented for implementing modern developmental workshops and seminars that would contribute to enhancing and assessing academic performance across all university colleges. An agreement was also reached on establishing a clear mechanism for distributing training programs among committee members to ensure the highest levels of efficiency in implementation. The meeting also included a review of the committees’ work during the past period, an evaluation of completion rates for their assigned tasks, and the development of a well-designed scientific plan to monitor the performance of colleges in the field of measurement and evaluation. In addition, mechanisms for preparing reports were unified at the university level in alignment with the institutional plan, ensuring the organization of the educational process according to the highest standards. These steps come as part of a comprehensive approach aimed at enhancing quality and elevating academic practices at Al-Mustaqbal University, contributing to the development of the educational environment and supporting the university’s pursuit of institutional.
In implementation of the directives of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in line with the continuous follow-up of colleges and academic departments to ensure the smooth progress of the educational process according to approved plans, field visits were conducted to classrooms and laboratories across the university’s colleges and departments to assess academic and administrative performance. The visits were carried out under the direct supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawei, the Scientific Assistant to the University President, and with the follow-up of Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The inspection tour included several colleges to monitor the teaching process, the delivery of courses, and student attendance and discipline. The visits aimed to ensure the provision of an appropriate and supportive learning environment for students, monitor the accuracy of educational and administrative procedures within classrooms and laboratories, and ensure faculty members’ adherence to teaching schedules and academic plans. During the visits, student warning lists were reviewed, particularly for those with high absenteeism rates, in accordance with the university’s rules and regulations. These visits reflect Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to maintaining educational quality standards and applying modern academic assessment systems, thereby enhancing the efficiency and excellence of the teaching and learning process in alignment with the university’s vision for sustainable academic distinction.
In implementation of the directives of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and with the follow-up of the university’s colleges and academic departments to ensure the smooth conduct of the educational process according to approved plans, field visits were conducted to the examination committees in various colleges and departments to review academic and administrative performance. These visits were carried out under the direct supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawei, the Scientific Assistant to the University President, and with the follow-up of Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The visits included several colleges to monitor the educational process and course instruction, assess student attendance compliance, and review the work of the examination committees in line with the evaluation instructions approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The visits aimed to ensure a suitable educational environment for students, monitor the accuracy of educational and administrative procedures within examination halls, and guarantee that faculty members adhere to the scheduled course plans. During the visits, records of grades were reviewed, approved, and documented in accordance with established regulations and laws. These visits reflect the continuous field supervision by Al-Mustaqbal University administration and underscore the commitment to educational quality standards and the university’s assessment system, enhancing the efficiency and quality of education across the institution.
