Information Technology Division Participates in a High-Level Meeting Chaired by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University

The Information Technology Division at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in an extensive meeting chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, with the attendance of several deans, heads of departments, and specialists in the fields of Information Technology, Programming, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity. The meeting addressed a number of strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the university’s position in digital transformation and technological leadership through the development of digital skills, the promotion of innovation, and the establishment of academic partnerships with leading international universities. Discussions emphasized the importance of integrating advanced technologies—particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity—into both academic and administrative environments, contributing to the preparation of a new generation of programmers and innovators capable of meeting the evolving demands of local and global labor markets. The Information Technology Division at Al-Mustaqbal University held a development meeting chaired by Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Director of the Information Technology Division, with the attendance of the programmers of the university’s official website, to discuss mechanisms for developing and updating the university website in order to improve electronic services and enhance user experience. The meeting addressed several topics related to improving the website interfaces and unifying standards for presenting information and data related to colleges and academic departments. It also included discussions on updating graduates’ portals and related electronic services in line with modern academic and administrative requirements. Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd emphasized the importance of continuously developing the university website to ensure accuracy, organization, and easy access to information, in addition to strengthening the digital services provided to students, graduates, and university staff. Electronic Website Division at Al-Mustaqbal University Discusses Website Quality Evaluation Requirements with the Quality Assurance Department

A delegation from the Electronic Website Division at the university, represented by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Maithem Mohammed and Assistant Lecturer Wameed Diaa Shamsi, held a meeting with Dr. Riyadh, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, in the presence of Ms. Sanaa, to discuss the requirements for evaluating website quality according to the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The meeting addressed the technical and academic standards related to the development of the university website, as well as mechanisms for improving digital content quality and electronic services in line with ministerial ranking requirements. The participants also emphasized the importance of the university website as the institution’s digital gateway and its role in strengthening academic communication, highlighting institutional identity, and supporting quality assurance and digital transformation within higher education institutions.
