Event Details

Under the sponsorship of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Deanship of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences alongside Lion Gym, in cooperation with the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Babylon, the Lion Run Babylon Marathon will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, starting at 5:00 PM near the Corniche Bridge (opposite Marina Water City). The event is open to all ages and categories to send a message that Babylon embodies a vibrant athletic spirit capable of creating inspiring initiatives. The "Lion Run Babylon" gathering will continue every Friday in different locations across the governorate, featured with the attendance of various media outlets, channels, and youth-sports media supporters.
