Under the auspices of the Continuing Education Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University, the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems organized an online training workshop entitled: “Using Turnitin to Detect Academic Plagiarism and Promote Scientific Integrity.” The workshop was held on Saturday, July 27, 2025, via Zoom at 9:30 PM.<br /><br />The session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mahdi Ubaidi Manaa, Head of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, who highlighted the mechanisms of the program and its role in detecting textual similarities and reducing plagiarism. He also stressed the importance of Turnitin in enhancing academic honesty and improving the quality of research papers and theses.<br /><br />The workshop aimed to raise awareness among faculty members and students about the effective use of modern digital tools in higher education, thereby contributing to the promotion of a culture of integrity and transparency within the academic community.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
