The field of medical image analysis is witnessing rapid development thanks to artificial intelligence technologies, which have contributed to a significant transformation in disease diagnosis and early detection methods. These technologies rely on deep learning algorithms capable of processing vast amounts of data and analyzing medical images, including X-rays, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and computed tomography (CT) scans, to identify disease indicators and patterns with high levels of accuracy and efficiency. The importance of these technologies is particularly evident in supporting the early detection of various diseases, such as cancerous tumors, diabetic retinopathy, cardiovascular diseases, and strokes. Intelligent systems can identify subtle changes in medical images that may be difficult to detect through conventional methods. They also provide physicians with rapid analytical results and supporting information that help improve diagnostic accuracy, reduce the likelihood of errors, and facilitate timely medical decision-making. The role of artificial intelligence is not limited to image analysis; it also extends to improving image quality by reducing noise and enhancing clarity. This increases the effectiveness of medical examinations and helps produce more accurate results. Furthermore, integrating medical image analysis systems with electronic health records makes it possible to combine radiological findings with clinical data and patients' medical histories, providing a more comprehensive view that supports health assessment and the selection of appropriate treatment plans. The application of artificial intelligence in medical image analysis represents an important step towards advancing healthcare systems by combining processing speed, analytical accuracy, and the effective use of big medical data. As these technologies continue to evolve, opportunities for developing more efficient and reliable diagnostic systems will increase, while physicians' medical expertise remains essential in interpreting results and making treatment decisions Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
