Almustaqbal University participated with an official delegation in the 15th International Conference on Educational Studies and Applied Linguistics (VESAL 2026), organized by Tishk International University in Erbil. The conference brought together academic leaders, education officials, researchers, and specialists to discuss developments in educational studies and applied linguistics and exchange scientific expertise. The University’s delegation comprised Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, representing the President of Almustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, and Professor Dr. Tariq Jawad Kadhim, Director of Scientific Affairs. The conference was attended by Mr. Alan Hama Saeed, Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Region; Professor Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tishk International University; and Professor Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi, President of the University, alongside representatives of higher education institutions and a distinguished group of experts and academics. Almustaqbal University’s participation aimed to strengthen engagement with academic institutions, explore opportunities for research and scientific cooperation, and exchange educational expertise and practices that contribute to advancing teaching methods and improving the quality of higher education. This participation forms part of the University’s efforts to expand its regional and international partnerships, support academic excellence, and strengthen its presence at scientific forums.
