# The Department of Cybersecurity Sciences Organizes a Scientific Workshop for Third-Year Students
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance students’ scientific knowledge and practical skills, the Department of Cybersecurity Sciences organized a scientific workshop for third-year students. The workshop aimed to expand their understanding of cybersecurity and strengthen their ability to identify, analyze, and respond to digital threats.
The workshop covered fundamental and advanced cybersecurity concepts, focusing on cyberattack techniques, security vulnerability analysis, system and network protection mechanisms, and the implementation of appropriate security measures to mitigate the risks of cyber intrusions and unauthorized access.
The workshop also emphasized practical learning through demonstrations of selected cybersecurity scenarios in a controlled laboratory environment. This approach helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application while developing students’ analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
This workshop forms part of the department’s scientific activities aimed at preparing students with the knowledge and competencies required to keep pace with the rapid developments in cybersecurity, meet the demands of the labor market, and promote a culture of safe and responsible technology use.
