The Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science, Almustaqbal University, organized an awareness workshop on October 17 entitled “Together for a Society Free from Violence Against Women.” The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Fatima Makki Shaalan, with the participation of Assistant Lecturer Zainab Jassim, Assistant Lecturer Sukaina Talib Khairallah, and Assistant Lecturer Noor Firas. The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the importance of combating violence against women, promote a culture of mutual respect and human dignity, and emphasize the role of families and educational institutions in building a safe and supportive social environment for women. This workshop forms part of the department’s awareness activities aimed at strengthening social responsibility, promoting tolerance, and rejecting violence in all its forms.
