The Activities Coordinator at the Engineering Technical College, Assistant Lecturer Anas Ahmed, held a meeting with representatives of the academic departments on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in the Central Activities Hall at the Engineering Technical College to discuss the “Future Camp” project, which aims to host and implement a range of scientific projects developed by the college. The initiative seeks to enhance students’ scientific and practical capabilities and foster a spirit of innovation and creativity.
The meeting addressed the nature of the scientific projects planned for the camp, coordination mechanisms among academic departments, and ways to organize work and unify efforts to ensure the project’s success. The discussions also focused on creating a supportive environment for creative ideas and scientific initiatives, strengthening collaboration across different engineering disciplines, and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by supporting practical learning and developing students’ skills, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, by encouraging innovation and the development of scientific and technological projects.
Al-Mustaqbal University, the number one among private universities in Iraq, continues its efforts to support scientific initiatives and innovative projects while providing a university environment that encourages creativity and excellence. These efforts contribute to preparing qualified engineering professionals capable of keeping pace with technological advancements and meeting labor market needs.
