The Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University continued its regular academic activities on Sunday, October 18, 2026, through theoretical lectures in the Data Structures and Algorithms course, held in Classroom AC-002 under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Murtadha Abbas, with the attendance of 33 students. This activity reflects the department’s commitment to maintaining the continuity of the educational process and strengthening students’ scientific and technical knowledge.
The lecture focused on delivering theoretical concepts related to data structures and algorithms, which are fundamental pillars of computer science and artificial intelligence. These concepts play an important role in developing students’ logical thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills, while enhancing their understanding of the methods used in software design and the development of efficient programming solutions.
These educational activities align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by supporting educational quality and developing students’ technical knowledge and skills, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, by strengthening scientific and technological capabilities and encouraging innovation.
Al-Mustaqbal University, the number one among private universities in Iraq, continues its efforts to provide a supportive learning environment, improve students’ academic performance, and prepare qualified professionals capable of keeping pace with rapid developments in computer science and artificial intelligence and meeting labor market demands.
