The Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an educational guidance lecture on Saturday, October 17, 2026, delivered by Mr. Abdul-Khaliq Mahdi at Laboratory 307, with the participation of 35 students. The lecture aimed to promote educational awareness and positive university behavior among students while reinforcing the values of mutual respect and effective interaction with lecturers and instructors during lectures and practical experiments to acquire valuable knowledge and information. The lecture addressed the importance of building students’ self-confidence and sense of professional responsibility from the outset of their academic journey, encouraging them to conduct themselves as future engineers specializing in Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies. It also focused on raising awareness of the health, social, and environmental dangers of smoking and drug use. Furthermore, students were informed about ministerial regulations prohibiting smoking on campus and the disciplinary procedures applicable to violations. The lecture also emphasized the importance of maintaining appropriate university conduct, striving for academic excellence, and achieving high grades that would qualify students to pursue postgraduate studies after graduation. This lecture aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, by promoting health awareness, supporting educational quality, and fostering responsible behavior within the university environment. At the conclusion of the lecture, students expressed their appreciation for such educational and awareness-raising sessions, recognizing their role in strengthening awareness and developing students’ professional and academic personalities.
