The Medical Physics Department at the College of Science, Almustaqbal University, participated in a scientific workshop organized by the College of Science on Saturday morning, October 10, 2026, entitled “Medical Technology: Innovation, Ethics, and Patient Privacy Protection,” in the presence of Dr. Mudhaffar Al-Zuhairi. The workshop addressed the rapid developments in medical technology and their role in advancing healthcare services and improving the quality of medical care. It also discussed the ethical aspects associated with the use of modern technologies, particularly the importance of protecting patient privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of their personal and medical data. The workshop also highlighted the importance of achieving a balance between technological development and innovation and adherence to ethical and professional standards, ensuring the safe and responsible use of technology in serving patients and healthcare institutions. The participation of the Medical Physics Department in this workshop reflects its commitment to keeping pace with the latest scientific and technological developments and enhancing knowledge in fields related to medical technologies and their ethical applications.
