The Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, is one of the modern academic disciplines that brings together the principles of physics and medical applications, with the aim of preparing scientifically qualified graduates equipped with the skills required to work in diagnosis, treatment, and scientific research. Since its establishment in 2017, the department has continued to offer an academic program that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, with a focus on several important fields, including radiation physics, medical imaging, radiation therapy, nuclear medicine, laser applications, medical image processing, and medical nanotechnology. The department is distinguished by its modern laboratories and supportive educational environment for projects and scientific experiments, in addition to a specialized academic staff that contributes to developing students’ skills and keeping pace with the rapid advancements in modern medical technologies. Graduates of the Medical Physics program are qualified to work in hospitals and medical centers, diagnostic and radiation therapy centers, nuclear medicine departments, laboratories and research institutions, as well as health and educational organizations.
