Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University, held a meeting today, Tuesday, September 29, 2026, with the heads of the College’s departments and department rapporteurs to discuss and follow up on the scientific laboratories across the College. The meeting addressed the current status of the laboratories and their requirements, as well as mechanisms for organizing laboratory work in line with the requirements of the educational and practical processes. The meeting also reviewed their readiness to receive students and provide the necessary facilities and equipment to support the practical component of the academic curricula. The participants also discussed the importance of coordination between the scientific departments and laboratories, continuously monitoring their requirements, and developing the laboratory environment in a manner that enhances the quality of practical training and equips students with the necessary scientific and practical skills. Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani emphasized the importance of continuous follow-up of the laboratories and improving their organization and facilities. He stressed the need for coordinated efforts among department heads and rapporteurs to ensure a safe and suitable laboratory learning environment that supports scientific education at the College of Science. The meeting is part of a series of meetings and follow-up activities conducted by the College of Science with its academic departments to organize academic and practical work and enhance the quality of educational services provided to students during the 2026–2027 academic year. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
