The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Thi Qar held a master’s thesis defense today, Thursday, for Amal Khalil Hamad, a postgraduate student in the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. The thesis was entitled: “New Authentication Factors of Oil Companies for Secure Validation in Cyber Transactions” The thesis defense committee consisted of: • Prof. Dr. Kadhim Hassan Kaban – Chair • Prof. Dr. Ali Kadhim Al-Gharabi – Member • Prof. Dr. Salih Hajim Jloud – Member • Asst. Prof. Dr. Mishal Hamad Awad – Member and Supervisor The thesis focused on developing new authentication factors to enhance the security of oil companies and ensure secure identity verification in cyber transactions. It also highlighted the importance of adopting modern authentication mechanisms to address cyber threats and attacks and to protect data and digital transactions. The committee praised the student’s scientific efforts in preparing the thesis, as well as her academic approach to the research topic and the findings she reached. Following the discussion and scientific deliberation, the committee decided to award the student a Master’s degree, wishing her continued success and excellence in her academic and scientific career.
