Medical Physics Department Holds a Training Workshop on Artificial Intelligence Applications in Administrative Work

The Medical Physics Department at the College of Science – Almustaqbal University held a training workshop entitled “Towards Smarter Administration: Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Administrative Work” on [date], presented by Lecturer M.M. Lubna Ali Jalil. The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the importance of utilizing artificial intelligence tools to enhance administrative work and improve performance efficiency. The workshop addressed several important topics, including the use of artificial intelligence applications in content preparation, information analysis, and decision-making support, while emphasizing the importance of using these technologies consciously and responsibly. The workshop also discussed a number of guidelines related to the responsible and secure use of artificial intelligence. Participants were advised not to enter confidential information, personal data, or sensitive documents into tools that are not institutionally approved. The importance of reviewing names, numbers, dates, and sources was also emphasized, given that artificial intelligence may sometimes generate inaccurate information. Furthermore, the workshop highlighted the importance of using artificial intelligence as an assistant in preparation and analysis rather than as a final reference without verification, while adhering to institutional policies and intellectual property rights when using AI-generated content. It was also emphasized that the greater the impact of a decision, the more important human review becomes. The organization of this workshop reflects Almustaqbal University’s commitment to enhancing digital skills among its staff, keeping pace with recent developments in artificial intelligence, and contributing to the development of an efficient administrative and academic environment that promotes higher levels of performance and productivity.
