As part of its efforts to strengthen partnerships with private-sector institutions and align university education outcomes with labor market requirements, Al-Mustaqbal University has signed a cooperation agreement with Aqad Gate Company for Training, Qualification, and Employment of Iraqi Workforce, with the aim of developing the skills of students and graduates and enhancing their professional readiness in line with labor market needs.
The agreement includes the implementation of scientific, practical, and training programs, in addition to organizing specialized workshops and joint seminars. These activities aim to develop students’ and graduates’ professional and soft skills, enhance their practical capabilities, and prepare them for suitable career opportunities that correspond with their academic specializations and labor market requirements.
Al-Mustaqbal University was represented at the signing ceremony by Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, in the presence of Dr. Samir Badrawi, Director of the Department of Cultural and International Relations, and Prof. Dr. Iman Abdul Aziz, Director of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division.
Aqad Gate Company was represented by Ms. Jinan Adel Makki, Managing Director, in the presence of Mr. Mustafa Jalil, Director of Research and Development, and Mr. Mohammed Saad from the Media Department.
This agreement comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to expand its partnerships with labor market institutions and strengthen communication between the academic environment and the private sector. It also contributes to transforming academic knowledge into practical skills, enhancing the competitiveness of the University’s graduates, supporting sustainable career pathways, and preparing qualified professionals capable of contributing effectively to development and serving the community.
Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
