The President of Almustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired an expanded administrative meeting to review the University’s level of readiness and the completion of the requirements set by the Ministerial Committee for Education and New Academic Programs. The meeting was attended by the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, along with directors of the relevant administrative and technical departments and units.
The meeting was held as part of Almustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening its institutional readiness and fulfilling the approved academic, administrative, technical, and infrastructural requirements. These efforts support the University’s plans for academic expansion and the introduction of new academic programs that keep pace with developments in higher education and the needs of the labor market.
The meeting included a comprehensive review of the files related to the requirements for establishing new academic programs. Discussions covered the readiness of infrastructure, classrooms, modern laboratories, and technical, logistical, and engineering facilities. The participants also reviewed the availability of academic and administrative staff, as well as recruitment and academic qualification plans in accordance with approved standards and regulations.
Legal, organizational, and student-related aspects were also discussed, with emphasis placed on completing all required procedures and ensuring compliance with ministerial regulations governing the establishment of new academic programs. The meeting further addressed the provision of services and facilities that support students and contribute to creating an integrated university environment conducive to learning and scientific research.
The meeting featured a detailed review of the progress made by the responsible departments and units, with emphasis on strengthening coordination among administrative and technical units and accelerating the completion of requirements within the specified timelines, while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency.
Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among all University departments and working as one team. He emphasized the need to complete assigned responsibilities accurately and within the established schedules in order to enhance the University’s readiness and support its continued institutional development and academic expansion.
This follow-up comes within Almustaqbal University’s strategy to enhance the quality of academic and administrative performance and further develop the university environment in line with the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It also supports the introduction of high-quality academic programs that respond to scientific developments, labor market needs, and the objectives of sustainable development.
