Faculty Member Dr. Kareem Issa Hindoul Hussein from the Department of Medical Physics Completes Five Ministerial Training Courses in Scientific Research and E-Learning

As part of the College of Science at University of Al-Mustaqbal’s efforts to support academic development and enhance the skills of faculty members in scientific research, academic publishing, and e-learning, faculty member Dr. Kareem Issa Hindoul Hussein from the Department of Medical Physics successfully completed five accredited online ministerial training courses offered by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through the Eduba platform, affiliated with the E-Training and Development Platform Department / Office of the Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs. The completed courses included “How to Write a Research Paper from the Reviewer’s Perspective,” completed on June 10, 2026. This course addressed the mechanisms of evaluating scientific research from the viewpoint of reviewers and assessors, as well as the key scientific and methodological aspects that should be considered when preparing a research paper to ensure its quality and suitability for publication. Dr. Hindoul also completed the course “Notes on Writing and Publishing a Review Paper,” completed on June 10, 2026. The course focused on the fundamentals of preparing scientific review papers, organizing references, analyzing previous studies, and structuring content in accordance with the requirements of reputable scientific journals. The training courses also included “The Concept of the h-index and How to Improve It,” completed on June 10, 2026. This course discussed the concept of the h-index and its importance in measuring researchers’ scientific impact, in addition to outlining academic methods that contribute to improving research quality and increasing scientific citations. In addition, Dr. Kareem Hindoul completed the course “Smart Learning Platform for University Professors – Step by Step,” completed on June 8, 2026. This course aimed to develop faculty members’ skills in using e-learning platforms and employing smart learning tools in the educational process. The series of participations concluded with the course “Choosing the Appropriate Journal and Verifying Its Reliability,” completed on June 11, 2026. This course covered the criteria for selecting suitable scientific journals for publication, methods for verifying journal reliability, and ways to avoid predatory journals, thereby enhancing the quality of academic publishing. This achievement reflects the commitment of the Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science to encouraging faculty members to participate in accredited ministerial training courses, contributing to the development of academic and research performance and keeping pace with modern advancements in higher education and scientific research.
